It's a new season, and that means it's a perfect time to reinvent yourself! Especially with Homecoming here, it's a perfect time to try out a new look, whether it be the type of dress you choose to wear to your homecoming dance, the makeup you wear, or a totally new hairstyle! We know it can be scary to change a style you've become so accustomed to, which is why we're totally in love with Seventeen Magazine's Virtual Makeover Tool!

The Seventeen Mag Virtual Makeover Tool is a perfect way to try out a new hairstyle or makeup look without taking the risk of actually cutting your hair, or spending hours doing your makeup, only to find out that you're totally not feeling it. You can either upload your own photo to get the most accurate results, or use one of Seventeen's models for a quicker option.

The hair options are super fun because they're all taken from celebrities. So, if there's certain celeb looks that you've been wanting to try out so badly, but have been too scared to pull the trigger, take a look at Seventeen's gallery! They have everyone from Katy Perry to Blake Lively.

The makeup part is so fun, too! You get to choose makeup for your eyes, lips, and overall face. Best yet, the tool will even tell you the exact makeup that's being used, so you can go out and get it yourself. Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber broke up earlier this year, and it's definitely been all about Selena ever since then! From being the December 2012 Glamour Cover Girl, to coming out with her new hit single "Come and Get It," to even having a nail polish collaboration with Nicole by OPI, there's no stopping this girl! So, it's no surprise that she of course has perfect style, too.

The most recent look we're obsessing over is her makeup in her latest promo pic for her upcoming album, Star Dance. Her dramatic eye makeup is just so stunning! Want to rock the look yourself? No worries - we have you covered! The bold, black look is so sexy, while the lush lashes give it a touch of sultry - perfect for a night out with friends.

To get those voluminous lashes, try out Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Color Lash Enhancing Mascara. This mascara is so perfect because it does more than just volumize; it also lengthens and curls, all while protecting those lashes with a triple peptide complex! For a super dramatic look like Selena's, just simply apply extra coats.

Finish off the look with your favorite black smokey eye shadow, and add in black eyeliner over your lash line and waterline. A clutch! It's the one thing that will pull your whole look together and of course hold all of your necessities. Since you won't be bringing a regular sized purse with you, you can't bring everything you own! It's important to be prepared...but you also don't want to over pack. So, to make it easier for you to decide what to bring and what to leave out, we went through the must-haves for a perfectly packed clutch. Listed below are the necessities - besides "feminine products" - you'll need to bring with you for the biggest night of the year!

Powder Finish

Makeup is part of getting all dolled up. Making it last all night is a task, so make sure you bring some back-up to keep it from running and to retouch your makeup. A loose powder finish is ideal to carry in your clutch. Here's a tip from the pros at Teen Vogue:

"Packing a powder is something I battle with a lot because of all the teeny tiny clutches on the red carpet. But if you tend to be really shiny, you can just take a little bit of loose powder and put it on your powder puff before wrapping it in a tissue. Use that instead of carrying around a big compact!"

Blotting Papers

"Obviously they're great for reducing shine, but you can also use them to blot your lips. And if your eyelids tend to get a little oily, you can use them there too, so your eye makeup doesn't start creasing."

You're going to be eating, drinking, and talking all night...so you may find that your lip color is struggling to last through it all. Add lipstick or lip gloss to your clutch like the one shown above from Mac! If you don't feel like retouching your lips all night, try sticking with a lip stain. It should last all night!

Bring in backup for your Hair

If you have an updo, or even a half-up/half-down look, it's a great idea to bring backup bobby pins. You'll never know how your hair is going to turn out by the end of the night, especially if you're probably going to be busting a move on the dance floor!

Don't Forget Your Camera!

Remember to bring your camera to capture all the moments to look back at the good times! You'll of course want to have memories of how fab you looked!

Even though December is here, it's still pretty warm out on the East Coast and Winter doesn't officially set in until the end of the month. So, we're making sure to enjoy all parts of Fall before all of the leaves are gone!

We've been especially keeping our love of Fall going by breaking out our favorite makeup looks of the season here at the store! Allure Magazine is always a great place to get beauty inspiration, and we've taken a hint from them for our favorite Fall makeup looks. They picked their top Fall makeup trends earlier this season, and we chose our favorite 4 out of the bunch that we've been rocking here at Rissy Roo's!

Red lipstick is always "in," but lately the popular look is to take that classic red color and go a shade deeper. You can rock the look by just wearing a dark red shade, or be bold with a burgundy or plum color. There's some shades that even border on being black! Kristen Stewart looked stunning wearing a dark red lip color on the October 2012 issue of Vogue UK. It's a very romantic look, but just make sure to pair it with some blush or bronzer to keep from looking like Bella when she's a vampire in Breaking Dawn 2!

Smoky eyes have been a popular trend for a few years now, but this look has always been synonymous with black. Now it's time for black to take a back seat and let brown be the go-to color when rocking the trendy smoky eye look. Black smoky eyes originally became popular because of how bold they are; but, smoky eyes can still be impactful, even without the bold black. Go for softer shades like brown and taupe for a more natural take on the fashionable trend.

While the classic smoky eyes took a softer turn this season, the classic cat eye got a make-over with a more bold, statement look. You can be the coolest cat in town by adding in longer swoops and larger shapes to your outline for a more dramatic look.

Whether or not you'll be outside camping all through the Fall or hitting the ski slopes all Winter, having rosy cheeks that make you look like an outdoors maven is always sexy! We especially love Gwyneth Paltrow's healthy looking cheeks paired with deep red lipstick in the above photo - two trends in one!

There is no doubting Taylor Swift’s super star style.  Since breaking onto the music scene as a teen, this country singer has been seen wearing the cutest clothes that compliment her personality.  Taylor never misses a step draped in some of the most beautiful designer dresses.  Even in her pop music videos, she always loves to wear ball gowns that are made for the country princess she is.  Before becoming a celebrity Taylor Swift loved dressing up in gowns and dresses, and dreaming about being famous one day.  Now, as a global superstar, Taylor Swift never misses an opportunity to look great in a pretty dress.

To get the Taylor Swift look for your Homecoming or Prom this year all you need to remember is 3 words:  Simple, yet glamorous!  Taylor always stands out in beautiful princess gowns and dresses, but when it comes to other aspects of her look, she makes sure to tone it down.

When it comes to hairstyles, Swift tries to stick to the basics.  She loves pretty updos, but will also just rock her natural curls with some added boost at most events.  This year Taylor added bangs to her hairstyle, which many other celebs are also adopting.  Full bangs are becoming a major trend of 2012!

For her makeup, Taylor Swift always keeps it basic as well.  She doesn’t overdo it, yet still has a certain style to it that makes her pop!  Usually Swift goes for the smoky eye look with dark eye shadow, thick mascara, and the occasional added glitter for extra sparkle.  Her lipstick color is always either a feminine light pink, bold pinup red, or classic vintage coral.  When it comes to adding blush, Taylor Swift is always sure to not go overboard.  Sometimes you can notice a slight added pink to her cheek, but her entire look is still very natural.

Geometry 101 – Eyeliner Styles

Geometric shaping around the eyes will be all the rage this Fall, says Elle magazine.  Get creative with your eyeliner and try out something more risqué like long wings at the corners, thick lines, and dots.  Adding something more to your basic eyeliner and shadow will bring a new shape and feeling to your entire look.  Also in style for the season are bold, full colors along the eyelid.  Mixing in some bold eye shadow colors to your pallet can additionally bring more attention to your beautiful eyes!

History Lesson – Fall Hairstyles

Daniel at Fashioning says that this season, hairstyles are getting Vintage.  The 1960s ponytail, side braid,  and classic wavy bob from the 40s are taking over.  These hair trends are bringing us back in time and making it a little easier to style our hair each morning.  This Vintage mix is really about comfort and staying casual.  Any straight hair will look fab in a long, low ponytail, while those with curly locks are in luck too with manageable braids or a bob look.

Biology Class – Boxy Bangs

Everyone will be adding prim and proper bangs to their hairstyle this Fall 2012 season.  Straight, boxy, full bangs can completely change your style.  Bangs bring an edgy look and can be a super stylish addition to hairstyles this Fall.  All year at Fall 2012 runway fashion shows and previews, the boxy bang has been dominant for models wearing the latest trends.  There are so many different styles of bangs so you’re bound to find a style that suits you.  If you’re not sure what will look good with your face shape just ask your hairstylist for a suggestion.

Drama Club – Red Lips

Makeup trends seem to be all about the shock factor this Fall.  If you’re looking to liven up your makeup style, pick up a luscious stick of red lipstick on your next shopping trip.  Deep and bright red lips are totally Vintage, fitting in with the Hairstyles this Fall, and add another burst of color to compliment your geometric eyeliner techniques.  Red is the ideal color for Fall, fitting in well with the season change.  The great thing about red lips, they’re classic and will go with anything you wear!
