There were a multitude of trends to hit us the Summer 2014 season, from bold Brazilian hues to feminine shapes and geometric prints. However, there was one trend that seemed manifest in every category from casual wear to more formal and daytime to night...the jumpsuit. The jumpsuit or romper (short version) has transitioned into fashion's biggest staple right before our eyes as it is so versatile, easy to wear, and the most trendy item in your closet right now. For this Fashion Friday: The Jumpsuit, we recognize this one piece wonder as fashion's biggest asset this Summer and into the Fall 2014 season.

We love jumpers and rompers because they can be worn anywhere and you can do just about anything in one depending on the style. If you get a comfortable style for lounging, you can wear it around the house, to the beach or shopping. Put a jacket on, add some accessories, and you have a casual nighttime outfit.  If you have a special occasion or a more formal event to go to, opt for an embellished design like Shail K style 3494. Black, with sequin detail, a v-neckline, and a stunning silver beaded waist, this outfit is glamorous but not over the top. Perfect with a classic black heel, this jumpsuit is the modern spin on the perfect black dress.

Maybe you have a weekend brunch,  birthday dinner, or a date with a special someone and you want to look fabulous, but you are sick of wearing dresses. From the runways of Paris to the streets of New York City, there is a fabulously bold makeup trend that is written (painted) on every girls face! Although soft pinks and ethereal silvers are also big for Spring/Summer 2014, it seems like shades of orange and coral are all the rage. This orange craze isn't just the new classic red lip either, as it has become a beauty staple on eyes and cheeks, too!

This popping hue is so versatile and fun, it can be worn from morning to-night! Many girls have the misconception that these orange and coral shades can only be worn with certain skin tones, but the truth of the matter is they can be put on every face as long as the proper color is chosen and applied correctly. We recommend girls with warmer skin tones try something bright, perhaps with more tangerine notes. If you have cooler skin, try for something more bold and on the stronger coral/red side. Also, if choosing a matte orange lipstick, avoid adding anything extra like gloss and liner. Let the lips do all the talking!

When adding this shade to cheeks and eyes, it will give a bright hint of sunshine. If you are tan it will give you the right amount of glow, while if you are more fair-skinned, it will give cheeks and eyes a beautiful, unique pop.

Just remember when using these shades to try not to over-do it. Allow your face's natural beauty to add to the color, not the other way around. Try this trend for prom or any special occasion (Graduation, perhaps?) and I am sure everyone will be amazed how awesome you look!

Since the seasons are changing, it has been quite the challenge to find the "perfect" look these days. Earlier this week, we talked about spring casual outfits, but there's one great spring look that we didn't mention: blazers! Until the weather is adequate for the more revealing summer wear, which we have been craving all winter, we find blazers are the perfect fashion piece to make any outfit look super trendy and complete! Plus, the look as been all over the runways.

Although prints are very "in" for the Spring/Summer 2014  season, a very minimalistic approach was taken by designers when it comes to blazers. As you can see above, a pastel blazer can be worn with shorts, a skirt, pants, or even a romper, and still look fabulous for day-to-day wear. A huge bonus by adding a blazer is you can still look great without a tremendous amount of trying or over doing-it by getting too dressed up. It will always have you looking both classic AND classy. The blazer is also the perfect piece of clothing to throw on after work for an event or special dinner!

As you can see, this light jacket can be paired with any type of outfit and it doesn't have to be plain. From striped to polka dots, everything works for Spring 2014! If you want to wear pants, shorts or a skirt, a blazer if the perfect complement, and is the easiest way to dress an outfit up or down. If it's colder out on the night of your prom, you could even throw a blazer on over your prom dress for a cute extra layer! It's always fun to dress a blazer up with a less "business-y" look like a prom dress, as it makes for stand-out contrasts. How are you wearing your blazer this spring? Labor Day Weekend is upon us, and the official first day of Fall may be only a month away, but it's still Summer and we have a lot more sun to still take in! Plus, with how popular the white trend has been, Labor Day definitely won't be the last day you can rock the color for this year! Most salon goers tend to stick with one, or two, colors when getting a mani/pedi; however there are some risk takers out there who love to experiment with new and exciting patterns! You have ten finger nails that act as a blank canvas, waiting for you to fill them up with beautiful and unique nail art! Let's take a look at some of the most popular mix and match nail patterns:

How adorable is this mani!? The base color, which is a coral pink, is the perfect color for summer time! The jewels on the middle nail will shine in the summer sun, as well as the silver embellishments located on the pinky and thumb nail. The white polka-dot and stripes are the perfect mediums to balance the nails out and make sure they don't look TOO over the top!

The Roo Girls are LOVING this beautifully done mix and match manicure! It reminds us of the Flapper Era, which is extremely popular now due to the release of The Great Gatsby remake. The baroque design, located on the thumb, is also a trend we look forward to seeing A LOT of this fall. The gold polish adds just enough glitz for the nails to be noticed. The mani above is a bit more simple than the previous two; but it is still a mix and match mani, nonetheless! The manicurist decided to keep the middle, pinky and thumb finger a bold blue and add a little spark of gold to accentuate the gold glitter in the pointer finger nail. The ring finger design can't hep but to remind us of a Betsey Johnson design! A lovely yellow with pretty pink flowers; these fingers are runway ready!
