We are itching for The Vampire Diaries Season 6 premiere to finally hit! While we love summer time, us Roo Girls seriously can't wait for October 2nd to come already. Season 5 of TVD ended so abruptly that waiting months and months and months for the next season to air has been torture...in the most vampiric way possible, of course! Well, the TVD gods have finally shined down on us by giving us some little tid bits to hold us over until Fall comes: a sneak peek of the Season Six promo photo shoot!

The show's stars shared behind-the-scenes videos and pics from the photo shoot on their Instagrams that are so steamy (literally)! The most exciting news? It looks like Damon (Ian Somerhalder) is in some of the photos and videos...so we can only hope that means he's back for Season 6! Check out the Instagram posts below and decide for yourself whether you think he'll be back in action for the next TVD season.

Pretty awesome pictures and videos, right? You can guess what we loved the most (other than seeing the faces of the hot TVD guys, of course), Nina Dobrev's (Elena on The Vampire Diaries) sexy black cut-out dress! The gown looked so perfect on her - we wish we could see the final photo shoot of her in the dress already! If you want her cut-out look for your next formal event, we're all about Nika style 9041! This gown features a strapless sweetheart bodice, illusion straps and back, and side cut outs just like Nina's dress. The gown also features elegant embellished cuff sleeves.

Looking glamorous and glowing, Gina Rodriguez wears couture Mac Duggal to the Critics' Choice Television Awards. As soon as she placed her nude bow heels on the red carpet, we couldn't take our eyes off of her and the sparkling one a of kind tea-length gown! The Mac Duggal style 82098D she wore features a sexy plunging neckline along with a bodice encrusted with an assortment of gorgeous sequins and stones. The elegant lace provides vintage elegance, while the bouncy skirt keeps it modern and girly. We love this dress!

Gina, called one of the "top 35 Latinos under 35," and "the next big thing" by The Hollywood Reporter, has been seriously acting in various projects since her breakout role in Filly Brown. Word has it she may be working on an album, and she recently took the main role of Jane Villanueva in the Pilot, "Jane The Virgin." Gina has also joined the cast of the upcoming drama film Sticky Notes. Despite her busy schedule, Ms. Rodriguez did have time to present at this fabulous awards show and she looked better than ever!
