With Halloween only a week away, our newsletter this week was all about dressing up for the day of fright, fun, and lots and lots of candy! If you didn't get our newsletter, or just didn't get a chance to read it, we wanted to make sure write a post about it, as well, as we know how difficult it can be to put a perfect Halloween outfit together.

If you're stuck on what to wear, finding a sexy little black dress is always a choice you can count on. Two LBDs that we especially love for Halloween are Sticks & Stones by Mori Lee style 9200 and Dave & Johnny 8580.

Mori Lee 9200 is a strapless sweetheart cocktail dress with all over lace details. It's a sexy look that also comes in a Black/Nude color that can be paired with so may different accessories to make a limitless amount of different Halloween looks.

Dave & Johnny 8580 is a dress that we posted a few days ago in our Get Bewitched and Vamped Up for Halloween blog post. It's a dress that's a perfect combination of cute and sexy with the sheer, lace, sparkle, and tulle details.

Pair your favorite LBD with stand-out heels like Touch Ups Blake Platform Boot Pump or Baylee by Sizzle Black Beaded Pumps to finish off the dark, sophisticated look. Then, just pick out the accessories of the Halloween character you'd like to be, such as a witch's hat, a masquerade mask, cat ears, or a floral headband and Dia de Los Muertos face paint, to get that FANGtastic Halloween style!

Halloween is only two weeks away, so if you haven't started putting your costume together yet, it is definitely time. Two costumes that are always classic and dependable choices are a witch and vampire! There's many ways you can put a witch or vampire costume together, but one way that we love is to pair a hat and broom or vampire teeth with a sexy little black cocktail dress. The 2013 CMT Music Awards on Tuesday, June 5 at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena had all of our favorite country music ladies walking the red carpet. And, you can bet that they looked stunning! From sexy short dresses that looked so perfect for summer, to glamorous gowns that had us wishing prom season wasn't coming to an end, we were swooning over all of the looks! As always, it was tough to narrow it down to a few best dressed, but, after much contemplation, we picked out our three favorites. Check them out below, as well as how you can get their looks for your next formal or semi-formal event!

Taylor Swift never disappoints when it comes to fashion (or music!), so it's no surprise that she landed in our top 3 list. She wore a strapless nude embroidered high-low Elie Saab gown. With her hair back, the focus was definitely on how gorgeous her dress was!

Sherri Hill style 8300 is an absolute perfect way to get Taylor's look. It is an elegant and simple sequined strapless dress with an asymmetrical hemline that you can rock in nude, just like Taylor. Or, find another color that you love even more - it comes in a variety of colors, such as red, coral, green, black, brown, and navy.

Kristen Bell wore an elegantly laced little black number from Zuhair Murad. It's such a beautiful cocktail dress that fit her so well!

To get Kristen's look, check out Sherri Hill style 2957. Twinkling accents completely coat its form-fitting sweetheart bodice, and lace detailing adds the perfect touch of elegance. Sheer material stretches up to produce an illusion panel with a scooped neckline.

Kellie Pickler just won Dancing with the Stars, and she was certainly showing off her win on the red carpet! She wore a plunging pink sequined gown with a beautiful open back.

For a sexy pink sequined look like Kellie's, Temptation style 2073 is the perfect choice. It's a long sequin dress featuring a halter neckline and open back. The silver sequin detailing under the bust helps to show off your curves!

Dresses with sheer bodices and lace detailing have been really popular for Prom 2013, and it was certainly a style to watch at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards, too! The BBMAs were held on Sunday May 19th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, and our favorite looks on the blue carpet (yes, blue...not red!) were worn by Ariana Grande and Jennifer Morrison. They both looked so stunning in black sheer and lace pieces that we decided to dedicate our Billboard Music Awards post to them! The 2013 Academy of Country Music Awards Show was held this past Sunday, April 7th, and we can tell that it's definitely Spring Time because so many of the celebrities were in cute short dresses! Of course, the celeb looks were as perfect as ever, and were certainly giving us lots of inspiration for Prom and Spring Formals!

As far as short looks went at the ACM Awards, the three celebs that we loved the looks of were: Carrie Underwood, Sheryl Crowl, and Miranda Lambert. And, our favorites of their dresses weren't the ones that they actually wore to the awards show, but the ones they wore on the stage during their performances. Check out what they wore below, as well as perfect dresses to get their look for your next formal event!

Carrie Underwood's little black lace dress couldn't have been any cuter, and certainly couldn't of been any more on-trend! Lace has been so popular lately, and we loved the way it looked on her dress!

 To get her look for Prom or a Formal Event, Sherri Hill style 2957 couldn't be any more perfect. It's an elegant lace number with a similar sheer sweetheart neckline, cap sleeves, and fitted bodice as Carrie's dress that comes in colors black and white. You could always add some cute black gloves to finish off Carrie's look!

Sheryl Crow were a sparkly gold frock that made her shine on stage during her performance! We loved how the dress sparkled so beautifully when the light reflected off of it.

 For a similar gold sparkly look, Precious Formals style P8873 is a great option. This criss cross halter dress is stunningly covered in hand work sequins and has a sunburst pattern cutout in the back, making this short number very sleek and sexy.

Miranda Lambert was another little black look that we loved. Her corset bodice and fringe skirt outfit was just so much fun!

Claudine for Alyce style 2233 is perfect for rocking Miranda's look at prom. Fringe, sequins and jewels says it all in this dress!

Finding the perfect dress to wear to a winter wedding can be difficult; you want to wear a cute dress, but it's cold out! Whether a formal or semi-formal wedding, here's some ideas that are perfect for showing off your fashion sense during the one month when dresses aren't quite as easy to wear.

Formal Wedding

This type of wedding usually means it's good to wear a long dress, since it's the winter time. Black is the perfect color for winter because the darker color is always appropriate, no matter what the setting.  It can also always be dressed up or down with accessories, depending on just how formal the black-tie affair is.

The first dress is La Femme style 18928, an elegant and classic jersey gown with satin accents and criss-cross satin straps under the bust. The back also has satin straps that criss-cross with a rhinestone brooch in the center. Since it's a simple black gown, you can have a lot of fun changing the look with accessories.

The second dress is a fancier number that's perfect if you know the event you are attending is on the more formal side. It's Alyce Jean De Lys style 29602, a satin and lace gown with a scoop-neck. The cap sleeves and black lace make is so perfect for the colder months!

 Semi-Formal Wedding

If it's a semi-formal wedding, a cocktail dress is the perfect choice. This type of wedding allows you to be much more flexible with your outfit and more easily show off your style. Our two favorite cocktail dresses for a winter wedding are below - the longer sleeves make them so perfect for the winter time. And, since they're just classic cocktail dresses, they can be worn for a number of other occasions, too!

For a funkier look, we love Jovani style 74207. It's a short cocktail dress with 3/4 length sleeves and illusion detail that shows off just enough skin, while still having that classy look for a wedding.

for a cocktail dress on the more formal size, we love Alyce Jean De Lys style 29524. This chic and classy short dress has a lace over satin fabric with a scoop neckline and 3/4 length illusion sleeves. Best yet, it's a classic little black dress that can be word to many different events!

Whether single or attached, Valentine's Day is right around the corner! With only 2 weeks left until February 14th, it's a perfect time to start planning your outfit. Even if you don't know exactly what you'll be doing yet, unless you'll be attending a formal event, a simple, sexy dress is always a staple go-to choice.

Every woman should obviously choose an outfit that they feel sexy in on this night, but it's also important to find one that you can feel comfortable and confident in. Even if you don't have a hot date, it's still a great night to go out and have some fun with your girlfriends. And, you definitely want to make sure that you'll be making a statement and turning some heads! For this day, don't feel like you need to go all-out with a fancy, sequined outfit like you might wear on New Year's Eve. In general, it's best to go with a simple, classic dress that accentuates your body. It's all about finding a nice balance between fancy and casual for this night out - choosing something that you'd wear to a nice dinner and a movie date is usually a good gauge!

If you want to show some holiday spirit, choose a red or pink dress, but you can always go with a simple Little Black Dress. We picked out our 3 favorite Valentine's Day dresses below (one for each color: red, pink, & black), so you can get some ideas for the big night!

If you want a red dress, we love Sherri Hill style 5002. It's a simple, short cocktail bandage dress that is sure to show off your curves, and it's definitely a dress that you'll find many uses for well after Valentine's Day. It also comes in colors black, navy, and white.

La Femme style 17494 is a perfect choice if you're looking for a pink dress. Amazing and sexy, this short cocktail dress is complete with a V-shaped front and back and has intricate beading all over the bodice. The dress comes in a light pink, blush, color, so you can show some Valentine's Day love without screaming it. It also comes in nude, if you want to forego the traditional V-Day colors altogether!

For a traditional Little Black Dress, Mori Lee style 9200 is perfect for V-Day because of the beautiful lace all over it. This LBD is both classy and sexy at the same time, and can definitely be worn for a bunch of different occasions. It also comes in a nude color, which really shows off the intricate lace detailing on the dress.
