All eyes have been on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, as the most publicized date on the 2018 calendar finally came: the 2018 Royal Wedding! The two love birds finally married on May 19, 2018, a Saturday, which went against tradition, as royal weddings are usually held on a weekday. That's no surprise, since there has been many aspects of Prince Harry and Meghan's engagement and marriage that has gone against tradition.

It was announced on the morning of the wedding that the Queen has conferred a Dukedom on Prince Henry of Wales. His titles will be Duke of Sussex, Earl of Dumbarton and Baron Kilkeel. As a result, Prince Harry is His Royal Highness The Duke of Sussex, and Meghan has become Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex.

The marriage took place in St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle, with Prince Harry and Meghan becoming the sixteenth royal couple to celebrate their marriage at the castle since 1863.

The prom 2018 season is on in full force, and it's time to begin the search for that perfect prom dress. For Jessi's Bat Mitzvah service, Jessi wore Sherri Hill style 51521 in gold, a lace v-neck a-line dress.

Sherri Hill 51521 features a sheer lace bodice, with a sweetheart neckline, opaque bra cups, lace tank straps, and an open square back, with a zipper closure. The beautiful short a-line skirt features an opaque underlay and scalloped hem. To top it all off, the entire dress is sprinkled with delicate jewels.

Sherri Hill 51521 was the perfect choice for a glamorous look that's still conservative enough for a Bat Mitzvah service. Plus, the gold of the Sherri Hill dress perfectly matched Jessi's talit.

When it was time to celebrate the special day during Jessi's Bat Mitzvah party, Jessi went full-on glam! She wore JVN by Jovani style JVN54472, a shimmering two-piece party dress.

The 75th Golden Globe Awards was held on Sunday, January 7th in Beverly Hills, California. The vibe was much different than past award ceremonies. The 2018 Golden Globes, which honored film and American television of 2017, did much more than honoring celebrities. It was the first awards ceremony to take place after many Hollywood sexual abuse cases have come into the news as of late, and the awards ceremony made sure to take the time to address the issue.

Everyone dressed in black in solidarity with people who have been victims of sexual abuse. There was also talk about Time's Up, Hollywood's new initiative to get victims of sexual harassment in low-income jobs legal help. It also has a goal of pushing anti-harassment legislation.

The most talked-about moment was when Oprah Winfrey took the stage. She was on stage to accept the Cecil B DeMille Award for lifetime achievement. It was a special moment, as she was the first black woman to take home the award. In her acceptance speech, she honored the past, and urged all to be hopeful for the future. With the year coming to a close, another 2017 awards ceremony is now but memory. The 45th Annual American Music Awards took place on November 19, 2017 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California. It was hosted by Tracee Ellis Ross.

With Tracee Ellis Ross hosting the event, of course she is number one on our AMAs Best Dressed list. Our favorite look of hers for the night was the gorgeous burgundy sequined gown she wore on the red carpet.

While we love all that sparkles, actress Yara Shahidi has a lot going on with her AMAs look. The combination of collared shirt, dressy shorts, trench coat, and knee-high socks with heels looks more like a totally funky day-out-with-the-girls outfit, rather than a red carpet outfit.

Madeleine Petsch

Black dresses are perfect for any event, but there's a little too much going on with Madeleine Petsch's black dress. A black dress is all about classic elegance; keep it simple, rather than trying to fit every trend, like feathers, lace, illusion, deep v-neck, etc, all into one dress.

Sabrina Carpenter

We love Girl Meets World star Sabrina Carpenter, and she usually has such great style! But, she may have gone a little overboard with taking a cue from the funky styles she wears on Girl Meets World with her AMAs looks. While it's always fun to add a touch of uniqueness to your looks, keep it within limits for semi-formal and formal events.

Julia Michaels

We're not sure if Julia Michaels is trying to dress up as Lydia in her wedding dress from the Beetlejuice movie, a Christmas present, or a loofa Halloween costume! Either way, while bold red is a totally great color choice, the excessive layers of tulle are a little much.

Rene Bargh

We love army green, but it may be misplaced at a formal event, especially when paired with a statement belt like on Rene Bargh's AMA dress.

Remember, whether on the best or worst dressed list, there are always style cues you can take and incorporate into your own outfits. So, even if there are certain elements of the worst dressed looks you loved, don't be afraid to incorporate them into your next outfit! After all, the most important thing in dressing up is choosing something you're comfortable and confident in.

We may be going into the cooler fall and winter months, but dress designer Sherri Hill is in full Prom 2018 mode with steaming hot new looks. While the new Sherri Hill Spring/Summer 2018 Collection isn't available yet, the designer held their runway show on Tuesday, September 13, 2017 as a preview of what's to come.

It looks like fringe is coming back in full-force with Sherri Hill for the upcoming season. So many looks featured chic fringe detail that we can't wait to get our hands on. Other than fringe, there were lots of bold colors, unique patterns and embellishments, florals, jumpsuits, dresses with capes, and lots of sparkles.

The gorgeous new Sherri Hill dresses are not the only reason that we loved what we saw on the Sherri Hill Spring/Summer 2018 runway.
