With prom season in full effect, the prom committees are getting decor ready for their creative themes. Each year, High Schools are coming up with unique ideas for their prom. From New York to Paris...from Candy Land to Alice and Wonderland...prom themes are now out of this world! With the help of Seventeen Magazine, we listed below this year's most popular themes. They're sure to get everyone in fiesta mode!

Casino

The casino theme is ideal for students who want something different from just dancing. Adding table games and slot machines gives everyone something to do! To complete the theme, you can recreate Vegas by adding lots of flashing lights. Channel your inner Vegas show girl by wearing lots of sparkle, like the sequin dress below. The theme of the prom is important because it gives you and your classmates the opportunity to escape the reality and stress of every day teen life, including picking the right college, homework, SATS, parents, relationships and so much more.
