There have been so many unique promposals this year, from a promposal delivered by police to a high schooler asking an Eagles linebacker to prom. With promposals and prom in the air, we're so excited to share a new promposal with you. Why is this one so special? It came from one of our very own Roo Girls!

Janey, who is one of the Roo Girls that works at the Rissy Roo's store in Linwood, NJ, is a student at Atlantic City High School and her Senior Prom is fast approaching. Since it's her senior year of high school, of course she has to go out with a bang, and she's off to a good start since she was asked to attend prom by way of a promposal!

Ready for how this adorable picture came to be? Janey plays on the girls tennis team at ACHS, but is also the manager of the boys tennis team. The boys coach called her and asked her to come to practice to help with a couple of things for the team. When she arrived, the coach asked her to take some pictures of the team... and of course first they wanted to have a shirtless picture taken. Five of the boys took their shirts off, and when they did, their chests spelled out, "PROM?" Then, her friend Danny came out, handed her bouquet of flowers, and asked if Janey would attend prom with him. Of course, Janey said, "YES!"

Such a cute promposal! Since both Janey and Danny are tennis players, could there be a better place than a tennis court for their promposal to take place?! And, Danny getting his teammates and even his coach involved in the promposal is super impressive! We give this tennis promposal the Roo Girl approval all the way! We can't wait fir Janey and Danny to finally attend prom together and hear how amazing their night was after it's all over!

Promposals have been getting more and more popular each year, and this Prom 2015 season has definitely taken the prom proposals to a whole new level. No more does simply writing a note with a accompanying flowers or a teddy bear work. Now, it's all about dressing up as Prince Charming for the day or coming up with some other totally unique idea.

Well, Amesbury High School junior Nick Fortuna, from Boston, Massachusetts, certainly found a very new and unique way to turn the normal note and flower routine into a very special promposal for his girlfriend Lauren Fedorchak. Believe it or not, Nick got the police involved in delivering a promposal! Nick asked police officer Ronald Guilmette to pull over his girlfriend at a traffic stop. Lauren gave the officer her license and registration. When the police officer returned, she received a "ticket," but instead of a traffic citation, the ticket said, "Prom with Tuna?"

Nick was waiting in Officer Guilmette's police car the whole time. Once Lauren was given her ticket, he came over to Lauren's car to surprise her in purse and give her flowers. Of course, Lauren said "YES!"

There have been so many amazing promposals this year, but this one may have taken the cake in our book! It's pretty impressive to get the police involved! And, major props to the Amesbury Police Department for being such good sports and helping Nick with his promposal. What do you think of this police promposal? Celebrity promposals have become quite the trend lately, and we have a new one to share with you! This past January, Instagram and Twitter user Hannah Delmonte had a unique promposal for Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Emmanuel Acho. She asked Acho to maker her "the happiest girl alive" by taking her to prom. She did so by proposing that he take her up on her request if she were able to get 2,000 retweets. Acho countered her promposal, saying that 10,000 retweets would be the magic number. Well, Hannah's obviously a very determined young girl and she did not let a mere 8,000 more retweets get in her way!

In case you couldn't tell from the photos, Hannah did it! Not only did she get 10,000 retweets, she made it to over 13,000! So, Emmanuel said "YES" to Hannah's promposal, went tux shopping, and surprised his fan at her high school with a custom Eagles jersey as a prom present. The jersey had the number 15 on it, "PROM" written on the back, and was signed by Emmanuel with a special note. So cute!

The Eagles linebacker definitely made Hannah's perfect prom night (and day) come true! We definitely think this Emmanuel Acho promposal is one for the books. It's always so impressive to see celebrities taking time (and money) out of their busy schedules to go to prom with some of their most die hard fans. Even with how popular celebrity promposals have become, it still surprises us every time we hear about one. Robin Williams passed away on August 11th, and we still miss him so much. He brought an unprecedented amount of joy and laughter to this world that nobody will ever forget. From more serious movies like Good Will Hunting and Bicentennial Man, to laugh-out-loud funny movies like The Birdcage, to kids' favorites like Hook and Night at the Museum, Robin had an amazing talent and personality that will always stay in the hearts of his fans.

Even with everything the late comedian did, two words that we never thought we'd hear in the same sentence were 'Robin Williams' and 'prom,' but the actor managed to have some prom fun during one of the last movies he filmed, Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb...and with another famous comedian, too... Ben Stiller! Skyler Gisondo, who plays the son of Ben Stiller's character in the film, was a senior in high school at the time that the film was being shot. Even though he was away from home filming Night at the Museum, he still was planning to go to prom and had a special person in mind that he wanted to ask to be his date. So, he asked his co-stars Robin Williams and Ben Stiller to give him a hand with a prom proposal! The two stars not only agreed to help Skyler in his promposal quest, but they had quite the enthusiasm to share!

"All morning, Robin was pitching more ideas," Skyler told The Hollywood Reporter. "He was saying, 'Can I say this? Would it be appropriate to say this?' You're Robin Williams. You can say whatever you want! It turned into this three-minute, ridiculous thing. A prom-posal. I realized that was the most awesome three minutes of my life and I've accepted it will go downhill from there."

In the super cute video, which you can watch above, Robin and Ben advertise all of the great 'benefits' of dating Skyler, and even pretend to have a whole special performance ready to go for the potential date's (Hilary's) pleasure.

This all happened back in May, but the video is timeless for so many reasons, and shows how great (and funny) of people both Robin and Ben are. In his interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Skyler even said that his time working with Robin was "invaluable."

"Robin was the bottomless reservoir of kindless and hilarity," Skyler told The Hollywood Reporter. "It was just so special to work so closely with this guy whose movies I've grown up with and watch his preparedness and his kindness."

Most importantly: the Robin Williams Ben Stiller Prom-posal totally worked and landed Skyler the prom date with Hilary!

There's many ways to ask someone to prom (called a promposal!) - you can keep it simple and go with a straightforward invitation, or you can get as creative as your mind lets you! Simple

If you want to keep your promposal simple, there's still plenty of creative ways that you can ask the question. We love the idea of getting a Starbucks barista to write "Prom?" on a specially made drink for your sweetheart. It's so simple, but will be sure to take your date by surprise and put a big smile on his or her face. The icing on the cake to asking your date with this method is to make sure you order his or her favorite drink.

Another simple and cute way to ask someone to prom is with a teddy bear, of course! Because, who doesn't love teddy bears? A cute thing to do to add a personal touch could be to spray the bear with your perfume or cologne; this way, the bear will smell like you.

Romantic

Looking for a romantic way to ask someone to prom? We love the idea of asking on a ferris wheel - it will feel like the movies!

Another super romantic way to get asked to prom is with lots and lots of roses, of course! We love this photo of a boyfriend asking his girlfriend to prom by spelling out "Prom?" on her bed with rose pedals.

Super Sweet

For a super sweet promposal, you can't go wrong with...sweets! Find a unique and fun way to pop the question with cookies, cupcakes, or chocolate, and you'll be sure to have a sweet, sweet evening.

We love the idea of getting custom M&M's that say "Prom?" on them! It really shows that the person put a lot of time and effort into the idea. After all, they have to be specially ordered from M&M's.

If you love baking, put your skills to work and make your own sweets for your promposal. We love how creative these cookies are - you choose the cookie that displays your answer. (How couldn't you say "heck yes!"??)

Fun and Cheesy

Finding a funny way to ask your date to prom can help to lighten to mood for something that can seem serious and a little scary. Coming up with a cute slogan like, "Out of all the fish in the sea, will you go to prom with me?" will lighten the mood in an instant and have you both giving a good chuckle. And of course, how could you say "no" to a new little fishy friend? Just make sure to take care of it.

When we say cheesy, we mean cheesy! We thought this idea was just too cute, and for sure gave us a good laugh. It's definitely a fun...and delicious...way to ask your date to prom. If you're a girl looking for cute ways to ask a guy to prom, they always say the best way to a man's heart through his stomach.

Personal and Meaningful

If you are in a relationship with the person you want to ask to prom, it's always a good choice to find a more meaningful way to ask the question. Since you are in a committed relationship with the person, you already know that you can expect a resounding "yes" to your promposal, so you can really pull out all the stops without being afraid! Especially for the seniors, this is probably your last big event of the year with your significant other, so make it special.

The Disney movie "UP" is both a sad and happy movie about a widower, so we loved seeing how a boyfriend found a creative way to incorporate the movie into his promposal.

It hands down doesn't get much cuter than asking someone to prom with a kitty! But, we put this in the "Personal and Meaningful" section because this is not something you want to do without knowing that the person you are giving the cat to can take care of the animal. You should talk to your date and his or her family ahead of time to make sure that they are ready, willing, and able to take care of the kitty as their new family pet.

It looks like not all dream prom dates consist of hot hunk musicians and A-list actors! One Connecticut girl had her eyes on taking someone else to her prom, and he was definitely more than the average person to appear randomly on Page Six...it's Vice President Joe Biden!

It turns out Talia Masseli, a student at Newington High School in Newington, Connecticut had a deep desire to have Biden escort her to her Senior Prom. She made this decision back in the Fall and took priority in writing him as soon as possible explaining, “I am inviting you so far in advance because I’m sure many 17-year-old girls send you prom invitations, and I had to beat them to it.” She later cheerily announced, “I could only tolerate a high school dance if I was to be escorted by the most delightful man in America.” Way to go Talia! If this was an election for sweetest and most confident promposal, you would have our votes!

 Even though the Vice President attending Talia's prom would have been the ultimate fairytale, Biden had a scheduling conflict that did not permit him to be in Connecticut at the same time as the event. However, Talia did receive a sweet ending! Talia got a package at her home before the prom with a beautiful corsage made of red, white, and blue flowers along with a note from Joe Biden on official White House stationary. He expressed,  “I am flattered, but my schedule will not permit me to be in Connecticut on Friday evening, but I hope you will accept this corsage and enjoy your prom as much as I did mine.” Wow, what a guy!

Even though Talia didn't get to go to prom with her dream guy, she still has a wonderful story and an extra special gift! Vice President Biden invited her to visit Washington, DC this summer, which she plans to do!

Celebrity promposals are all the rage lately, and yet another celeb delivers on an night to remember for one lucky prom-goer: Shaun White! High schooler Carly Monzo came up with such a creative idea to ask the Olympian and pro snowboarder to prom: by using a staple in the snowboarding industry, a GoPro! Carly smartly even named her promposal after the camera, with the name GoProm. So cute!

We were so happy to hear that Shaun White took time out if his busy schedule to surprise Carly at her prom! ABC had the scoop, and this is what they said:

"A month ago, the Montgomery County senior at Mount Saint Joseph Academy in Flourtown, and her friends got creative.

Monzo posted a video proposal online but got no response from the busy pro snowboarder, skateboarder and musician until Friday night.

A couple hours into her prom at Whitemarsh Valley Country Club, there was a special performance.

"Curtains drop and the band just starts jamming and I was like, 'Oh my goodness," said Monzo.

White appeared on stage in his tux and with his band, Bad Things. They performed three songs and invited Monzo on stage.

"To be honest with you if there wasn't pictures or video evidence, I would have thought I had a dream," she said.

The Olympian lit up social media, snapping photos with dozens of students before revealing how he made a secret trip from Austria just to surprise Monzo.

"It was really about being there with my friends, my whole entire grade got to share this moment with me and it was so awesome," she said."

We were so excited this week to see a promposal...right in the parking lot of our store at Rissy Roo's in Linwood, NJ! Highschooler Tyler had the creative idea to make his date's car into her prom proposal by using car paint to write the promposal on her windshield. The promposal said:

"Will you go to Prom with me?

--  Yes!  --  No  --  (Choose 1)  -- Love, Tyler."

We especially loved all of the cute hearts that were drawn all around the windshielf! The lucky date clearly said YES, since the "Yes!" was circled on the car, and she's now already at Rissy Roo's picking out a dress!
