There were a multitude of trends to hit us the Summer 2014 season, from bold Brazilian hues to feminine shapes and geometric prints. However, there was one trend that seemed manifest in every category from casual wear to more formal and daytime to night...the jumpsuit. The jumpsuit or romper (short version) has transitioned into fashion's biggest staple right before our eyes as it is so versatile, easy to wear, and the most trendy item in your closet right now. For this Fashion Friday: The Jumpsuit, we recognize this one piece wonder as fashion's biggest asset this Summer and into the Fall 2014 season.

We love jumpers and rompers because they can be worn anywhere and you can do just about anything in one depending on the style. If you get a comfortable style for lounging, you can wear it around the house, to the beach or shopping. Put a jacket on, add some accessories, and you have a casual nighttime outfit.  If you have a special occasion or a more formal event to go to, opt for an embellished design like Shail K style 3494. Black, with sequin detail, a v-neckline, and a stunning silver beaded waist, this outfit is glamorous but not over the top. Perfect with a classic black heel, this jumpsuit is the modern spin on the perfect black dress.

Maybe you have a weekend brunch,  birthday dinner, or a date with a special someone and you want to look fabulous, but you are sick of wearing dresses. The bold sequins balance the neutral color and allow the piece to be easily accessorized with some silver or platinum colored heels and jewelry! With Brazil as the official host of the 2014 FIFA World Cup, the gorgeous country has been an inspiration for fashion and beauty trends all over the world. Full of bronzed beauties and bright colors, it is no wonder this season's best makeup and beauty trends are bold, vivid hues and beach worthy looks! Here are few of our favorites to turn you into a Brazilian bombshell before you know it!

Neon Nails

It is always fun to rock a neon manicure, but it's not always appropriate. Sometimes neon polishes can be too aggressive, which is why you need to choose wisely. However, OPI recently launched a 12 color collection inspired by the Brazil fever with bold polishes that aren't too over powering. We love the bright yellow, subtle not so neon "I Just Can't Cope-acabana."

Summer is supposed to be about effortless beauty so we spend more time on the beach and less time getting ready to dance the night away...or at least that is the energy we get from Brasil! Although all of us wish we could spend everyday at the beach, sometimes it isn't that realistic, or healthy for the matter. Have no fear ladies, because amazing self-tanners are here to save the day! Our hand down, all time favorite at Rissy Roo's is the Self Tan Lux Oil by St. Tropez. Good news: it keeps your skin super soft with an awesome bronze glow that lasts and looks like you put in some serious hours in the sand. Bad news: it's kind of pricey, about $50 for a 3.38 oz bottle. However, you do not need to apply much and it will save your skin from harsh UV rays and wrinkles down the line!

Is your 15th birthday rapidly approaching? Thinking of celebrating your Quinceanera soon? Summer is such an exciting time for you and your community to embrace this remarkable pastime, which you will cherish forever! Even though this tradition is held in many Latin, Central, and South American countries differently, the concept and value are still the same. It is important for families to recognize a young lady's presentation into society as a woman. The word "Quinceanera" actually refers to the young girl (15-year old) being celebrated and the ritual of a party and mass where this young girl presents herself to God and the community, honoring both herself and her religion. The Quineanera is a timeless tradition and should be carried out through generations of beautiful, talented young women!

Of course, much planning goes into this special party, and we cannot forget the best part...the DRESS! Girls put much thought and effort into picking the perfect dresses for themselves and their court to match their theme and personality. Of course, trends are always changing, but traditional is always in! Many girls go with a standard princess-like, extra full, ball gown style dress. This season there are some newer colors and patterns, like animal print, but the most popular dresses are still the traditional ones. The trendiest colors for Summer 2014 Quinceanera's are pink, blue, white, and some pastel shades, however blue seems to take the cake! We pick Vizcaya by Mori Lee style 88001 in Deep Aqua for the ruffled organza skirt and beaded corset bodice!

For something more sophisticated and without so much ruffle, we adore Vizcaya by Mori Lee 88066 in either white, champagne, or light blue. The bow accent is very glamorous and the jeweled bodice is breathtaking!

 No Quinceanera would be complete without shoes, and for some, several pairs! In fact, many ceremonies have a "changing of the shoes" where the girl's father will take off the honorary girl's low heels, and replace them with a high heel, as a sign off stepping into womanhood. Many Quince's will have three pairs of shoes including flats to dance in, or to be comfortable towards the end of the celebration. The trend for Summer 2014 in this category is pretty spread out including pink heels, metallic platforms, glittery sandals, and even strappy, colorful heels with tassels of favorite soccer teams! Once the party outfit is put together, it's time to think about hair! Most girls like to wear a tiara or crown, but some go without it. As far as Quince hairstyles, the traditional way is to wear a simple, age appropriate up-do or hair flowing and pinned half up. Nothing over the top to take away from the dress or a girl's natural beauty, but something elegant and off the eyes and face. Many girls like to accent their hair with flowers or crystal jewels, or match their hair with their damas (fellow girl court members).

This new trend or "non-trend" of natural beauty has models, celebs, and street trend setters walking about with "barely there" natural painted faces. They are still wearing makeup, but this time it is only to conceal certain flaws, give extra definition to specific features, and bronze skin to give it a fresh, dewy glow!

Makeup artists only used a sculpting cream to highlight her brow and cheekbones and a cream color base in bronze to give her face some little hints of color. Wow! She looks gorgeous! "A strong girl who is naturally beautiful and doesn't need make-up," Lisa Butler said of the inspiration for the makeup of Emilio Pucci. We couldn't agree more with this philosophy. We think this beauty trend is empowering for all young women everywhere to finally embrace their own natural beauty and use makeup to accent their features instead of hiding them. The model above is only wearing MAC's face and body foundation in a shade slightly darker than her own to provide more glow, and natural shadows across the lid. The best part of this trend is not doing your hair! Use a dab of oil for frizzy strands or apply volumizing cream at the scalp and toss hair softly for beach like waves!
