Of all the red carpets during the award season, the Oscar fashions are always a highly anticipated event.  Like any other year, we expect to see gorgeous gowns worn by some of our favorite stars, always incorporating the year's latest trends, sometimes even starting a new one.  Once again, the stars did not disappoint, walking the red carpet in gowns that left viewers speechless.  Here are some of our picks for best dressed of the 2012 Oscars!!

Jessica Chastain did it right for her first time at the Oscars in this dramatic black and gold Alexander McQueen gown.

Cameron Diaz was the best dressed of the night in this form fitting nude Gucci gown.  This dress is simple up top but the bottom added just the right amount of detail.

Shailene Woodley is one of the few stars who knows how to dress her age.  Shailene looked stunning on the red carpet in this creme Valentino Couture gown with crochet detail.

Another first timer at the Oscars, Milla Jovovich took a modern take on old Hollywood and executed it flawlessly from head to toe.  This one shoulder Elie Saab gown with silver beaded detail did no wrong on the red carpet.  The touch of color added to her lips was perfect in completing the look.

Many blog years ago, we posted about the up and coming model and Kardashian sister Kendall Jenner. Kendall was just on the scene in the fashion world then, but her break out moment came from a trip to New York with her sister Kim. C’mon! Remember the “Keeping Up With The Kardashian” episode where Kim took Kendall to New York for her shoot with Designer Sherri Hill? Well, if you forgot, Kendall spent the whole day shooting at Sherri Hill’s showroom in a penthouse suite on New York City’s Fifth Avenue!

Sherri Hill creates couture one-of-a-kind gorgeous gowns… the kind that will make heads turn on entrance! Beautiful cuts with intricate details and embellishments, Sherri Hill’s dresses, both short and long, are Prom perfect picks and give an aura of sophistication! Sherri Hill offered Kendall the opportunity to walk in one of her shows ON THE SPOT, but Kendall was too nervous and declined (much to big sis Kim’s disapproval, but Kendall didn’t want to miss cheerleading practice, GO TEAM!)

The 12th Annual Latin Grammy Awards was held on November 10, 2011at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada! Vegas aside, the title of this post should have been "HOT, HOT, HOT" because it was by far the sexiest and biggest night for the Latin Music Industry. And we've got the pictures to prove it! Modern Family's Sofia Vergara, Pop Icon Shakira, and Avatar's Zoe Saldana all shimmered and shined in metallic gowns. Check out these famous ladies, who all hale from Columbia, as they donned their Red Carpet looks on the Green Carpet!

Ashley Green looked gorgeous at the Twilight franchise's premiere of Breaking Dawn Part I on Monday, November 14, 2011. Breaking Dawn Part I is the 4th installment of the mega blockbuster movie, which first gained acclaim the old fashion way, by book! Green plays Alice Cullen, Edwards sister and Bella's best friend who has the ability to see the future (but according to Edward, her visions are subject to change). Alright ladies, now I know most of us cringe when our guys have ESPN on every second of the day (which is safe to say the same way they must feel when we have Keeping Up With the Kardashians on for the 900^th time, but how much Stuart Scott do I really have to listen to?!) The only shining spot on the telecast is on Saturday afternoons when Reporter Erin Andrews hits the scene. Erin has beauty and brains and is the face of ESPN's College Gameday! This girl reports on college football and basketball games every Saturday afternoon in an arena usually reserved for the boys! The girl's got game, literally! Incase you're still fuzzy on who Erin Andrews is... She was also on the 10th season of ABC's Dancing With The Stars (She placed 3rd, her partner was that crumb, Maksim).On November 9, 2011, Erin attended the 45^th Annual Country Music Awards at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. A lot of people have been trash talking Erin’s outfit, but she’s young and beautiful people, get real and stop judging! I have no idea why she attended the CMA’s either, maybe she can relate to Taylor Swifts heartache, but Erin wore what I consider a dead ringer for Sherri Hill.Rather than bore us with the usual evening gown and long trains sweeping around the Red Carpet, Erin glowed in her sequin mini cocktail dress!
