All of the stars were out last night on Jan. 9th for the 2013 People’s Choice Awards at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, and we loved seeing them arrive on the red carpet! While everyone at Rissy Roo's unanimously agreed that Ian Somerhalder was our fave celebrity that walked the red carpet, we were of course also amazed at how beautiful all the ladies looked! The new year is finally here, and while that means looking ahead at what's to come, it also means reflecting on the year that's past. Of course, with our love for fashion, we've been looking back at some of the best dressed celebrities of 2012! We loved Lucky Magazine's list of their 25 best dressed stars because they included our favorite 4 in their picks. Check out our best dressed celebrities below and how you can get their look for your next formal event!

Jennifer Lawrence rocked some very fashionable outfits througout her Hunger Games promo tour - they even earned her a gig as the next face of the Miss Dior handbag! Our favorite dress was the one she wore to the Hollywood premiere - a Prabal Gurung gold cut-out gown. The gown reminded us of the shiny outfits the contestants wore during the Opening Ceremonies of the Hunger Games. Taylor Swift had a great year of fashion, from her casual looks, to being on the cover of Glamour, to dressing up in sparkly gowns at award shows. At the AMA's, viewers are not only excited for the on-stage performers and winners, but also for the fashion! This year's red carpet was full of eye-catching gowns and short little numbers.

We're so excited about the release of Breaking Dawn Part 2 here at Rissy Roo's that we've decided to make it Twilight Week! We've been watching the Twilight stars going from premiere to premiere across the world, and we are obsessed with all of the outfits Kristen Stewart has been wearing. Our latest favorites were her Madrid premiere outfits - we thought her form fitting, simple dresses were a great contrast to her Los Angeles outfit.

Like we showed you a few days ago with the outfits the Twilight stars wore at the Los Angeles premiere, if you want to bring Kristen's red carpet looks into your formal wear, read on to find your perfect look-alike dress.

 At the Breaking Dawn Part 2 Madrid photocall (on November 5, 2012), she wore a navy and white short dress. The gold embellishments at the neckline made the dress really stand out, but our favorite part was the color blocked detailing that accented the curves of her figure so well!

The Los Angeles premiere of "Breaking Dawn - Part 2" was this past Monday, November 12th, and the stars of the Twilight series looked as stunning as ever on the red carpet. With all of the recent hype behind Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson concerning their alleged break-up, we were happy to see them reunited at the premiere. And, we always love seeing Rob Pattinson and Tyler Lautner all dressed up!

Swooning and celebrity gossip aide, we were most excited about all of the beautiful dresses, of course! We loved the way Kristen Stewart, Ashley Greene, and Ashley Tisdale looked - their dresses were absolutely stunning. The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) awards were held last night in New York City.  Each year these awards acknowledge designers who have shaped the industry with their creativity, dedication, and revolutionary ideas.  Celebrity guests in attendance this year included Kate Bosworth, Heather Graham, Mandy Moore, and Dakota Fanning.

Bringing some humor to the ceremony, Seth Meyers hosted the gala which has been dubbed the “Oscars of the East Coast.”  Audience members couldn’t hold their stone-cold fashion faces for long when Meyers walked on stage draped in  a sheer black lace Marc Jacobs dress, with nothing but a pair of white boxers underneath.

Highlights from the evening include the presentation of Tommy Hilfiger with the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s win for Womenswear Designer of the Year, and Menswear designer of the year going to Billy Reid.  Although unable to attend the event, Johnny Depp, on set for a new movie, won the Fashion Icon Award.
