Actor Johnny Depp's daughter Lily-Rose Depp has been taking the media by storm lately, showing off her true fashionista skills, and we're basically obsessed. Most recently, she attended the launch party of Chanel's new Mademoiselle Privé Exhibition in London, where she rocked a lavender Chanel dress and black jacket and amazed all by her totally unique and chic style. So, ok, she may not have been attending a homecoming dance, but we're totally loving her look, one that couldn't be more perfect for showing off your own style at your homecoming dance.

Her look is a perfect place to start for being inspired for homecoming not only because it's just classic stunning, but also because it's a totally funky, unique look. Teen Vogue perfectly described the look: it's "not only...mindbogglingly gorgeous, but also because it's fun and a little quirky."

So, to rock a fun, but classic lavender look like Lily-Rose Depp, you can try a dress like La Femme 16813, a cute short dress with ruffles on the skirt and a beaded top, just like Lily-Rose's dress. You can definitely twirl around in style in this dress!

Being a Disney princess may be something that's hard to achieve in real life, but one way to certainly almost be a Disney princess is getting all dolled up for red carpet events like the Emmys. And, that's exactly what some celebrities did on the 2015 Emmys red carpet! A handful of actresses were spotted all dressed up in yellow, presumably taking a little inspiration from Belle in Beauty and the Beast.

Belle looks ran three deep at the 2015 Emmys: Mad Men actress Kiernan Shipka, model Heidi Klum, and stylist June Ambrose all wore the Disney princess' color of choice. The 2015 MTV Video Music Awards were certainly a site to be seen for the red carpet, with Miley Cyrus as the host this year. The musician wore some of the craziest and totally fun outfits that we've ever seen her wear, and it seems like the celebrities knew what they would be in for with Miley, following suit with some pretty unique outfits themselves. So, there were so many outfits that were off the charts that you could only wear to an event like the VMAs. There were a few celebrities, though, like Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez who kept it totally classy, as usual, and we're totally loving their looks for other formal events like Homecoming and Prom.

While we loved Tay Swift's custom herringbone two piece jumpsuit, we're especially obsessed with her BFF's look, Selena Gomez. Why? Because she work a very classic long sleeve black gown. During an event where most lady celebs were testing limits concerning how much skin they could show, Selena kept it totally classy.

Our favorite part about Selena's 2015 VMAs look, though, is that it's a look that you can easily take a cue from for your own formal events! Taylor Swift is off on her 1989 tour, and she is basically surprising people left and right at every stop with famous musicians, celebrities, and even sports stars showing up on-stage with her. From Kobe Bryant to Alanis Morissette to Ellen DeGeneres, Tay is pretty darn popular! Her newest 1989 tour surprise has got us Roo Girls talking for more reasons than one, though.

For her big 1989 date in Los Angeles, CA, she had a big surprise for her fans. Tay brought out artist John Legend for a duet on his song "All of Me." How did this all happen? Apparently, because Taylor happened to hear that John and his wife Chrissy Teigen were on their way over to see her performance. So, she called to see if John wanted to join her on stage, and join she did!

Of course, if you know us at RissyRoos.com, the Tay and John duet obviously wasn't the only thing we were crushing over. Look at that gorgeous long-sleeved gown Taylor wore (which she was clearly loving by all of her little movements)! It had us dreaming of prom days, to say the least. Last night was all about celebrating the theatre, because it was The American Theatre Wing's 2015 Tony Awards! The show was great from beginning to end, with mini performances from so many popular plays, and two hilarious and very talented hosts: Kristin Chenoweth and Alan Cumming. Of course, though, our favorite part was the red carpet! And, we were extra excited to see one of our favorite celebrities walking the Tony red carpet in style: Kendall Jenner!

Kendall forewent the traditional gown for a sleek and sexy Calvin Klein cocktail dress. The dress was peach colored and featured long sleeves and and open back - a perfect way to show off just the right amount of skin.

To get a similar look for your next semi-formal or formal event, there are three dresses that we're loving.

For a very similar cocktail dress that hits all of the major points of Kendall's Tony look - long sleeves, open back, high neckline, and textured fabric - go with Jovani style 9693. We all know that Taylor Swift was the artist of the night at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards for more reasons that one (she won many awards!). But, the event everyone is still talking about days after the Billboard Music Awards ended is Tay finally releasing hew newest music video: Bad Blood!

The music video is ah-maz-ing... to put it lightly. It's full of action, great music (duh!), stunning outfits, and endless stars! There are too many celebrities in the video to name them all, but some of our favorites included Hayley Williams of Paramore, Jessica Alba, Karlie Kloss, Lena Dunham, Selena Gomez, and Cara Delevingne. Phew... and that was only six of the celebs that made an appearance in the video! Tay has so many friends! Check out the video, and see if you can name all of the stars. Plus, if you love the stunning fashion throughout the video, read on because we picked out our favorite ways to take a cue from the Taylor Swift Bad Blood video at your next formal or semi formal event.

The very first outfit Tay shows off in this video is a stunning two tone nude and black corset and mini skirt outfit. Could the video start out any better from a fashion standpoint?! To get a similar look to Taylor's nude/black from the beginning of "Bad Blood," go with Faviana 7428. It's a short cocktail dress that features a multi layer chiffon skirt and a structured lace bodice. It comes in Black/Nude, just like Tay's outfit!

The video starts out with an outfit that's more feminine, like we know Tay's outfits to be in real life, but it then quickly turns to all the girls wearing sleek, sexy, ninja-inspired leather outfits. What else would ninjas wear?! For a ninja-inspired look that's sleek and sexy like all of the black leather jumpsuits and rompers Tay's entourage wore in "Bad Blood," go with romper La Femme 21339. It's an elegant chiffon dress with shorts, a sweetheart neckline, and belt around the waist. Perfect for kicking some ass in style!

Black was definitely the color of choice for outfits for the Bad Blood music video, but there were two white outfits in the video that were so stunning! Tay and "Frostbye" (Lily Aldridge) wore wintery white rompers while practice fighting in the video. For a white romper look like these two ninjas, go with La Femme 21526. It's a unique dress with a sheer tulle skirt, shorts, and pockets (because ninja spies have some essentials to carry, like compact mirrors that turn into throwing stars). The bodice is a sweetheart neckline and has a thin belt around the waist.

All we have to say is that we hope the Bad Blood music video gets turned into a movie! It looks like it could be the next Charlie's Angels to us! What an all-around amazing video. We can't wait to see what Tay has in store next for her 1989 album! Oh...and we're totally loving Taylor Swift with red hair, by the way.

The Met Gala is the one event that has been known for celebrities attempting to one-up each other for the best red carpet looks. It's held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC, so it's completely understandable why this red carpet event would encourage more 'artistic' fashion looks. Every year, there's a theme based on an exhibit at the museum, and this year the attire is based on the exhibit, "China: Through the Looking Glass," which is all about the country's influence on Western fashion. Sounds like a fashion night to remember to us! And, it certainly was.

The red carpet fashion went to the extreme, like Sara Jessica Parker's fiery red headdress, but also kept things simple and classy, like Lorde's long sleeve velvety blue gown. One of our favorite looks of the night met somewhere in between: Miley Cyrus' dress! Miley has been known for her more controversial looks, but lately at red carpet events, she's been choosing some very classy looks with just the right amount of edge, and we think her Met Gala dress walks that fine line perfectly.

Miley wore an Alexander Wang dress with stunning crystals throughout, a high neckline, long sleeves, and deep cutouts that showed off the curves of her body. While we wouldn't recommend such a deep cutout dress for anyone but celebrities trying to make a statement on the Met Gala red carpet, the cutouts did balance out well with the long sleeves and high neckline.

For a similar sparkly side cutout look with long sleeves and a high neckline to balance it all out, go with Jovani 24039. Not only does it feature all the major points of the Miley Cyrus Met Gala 2015 dress, but it's got two extra details to bring the whole look together: a keyhole opening and a beautiful crystal adornment at the waist of the dress. It's definitely a dress that's not only worthy of prom, but of any red carpet event!

Prom 2015 has brought prom proposals to new heights. Basically the days of simply just popping the question and asking someone to prom is over.... especially when it comes to celebrity promposals. Luckily, the boyfriend of Modern Family star Ariel Winter knew he had a big task on hand asking a celebrity to prom, and had just the right tricks up his sleeve for Ariel's promposal. Because... not even being someone's boyfriend or girlfriend is enough to get out of promposals anymore!

So, Ariel's boyfriend convinced a friend to pop out of a box, holding a "PROM?" sign, and throw flowers at Ariel. And, when we say throw flowers... we mean literally just chuck a bunch of flowers right at Ariel! We think they were flower petals that were supposed to be lightly tossed at Ariel. But, as the saying goes, you say "to-may-to," I say "to-mah-to." It's pretty hilarious (and cute!), and Ariel got a good laugh out of it, too.
