Performances may have been hot at last night’s 2011 Billboard Music Awards (I mean did you see B?), but the Red Carpet was aflame!  Looking for a Red Carpet look? Take a page from Queen B, Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez and Kelly Rowland! They were bringing the noise in more ways than one!  Check out the sizzling songstresses and their Billboard’s choice.  Award winning or not, they were all on top!

Sophisticated in her long sleeve stretch Lanvin pre-performance, Beyonce, who later gave a killer performance with her new single “Who Run the World”, was presented with the Millennium Award for her career achievements (thus far, because you know she won’t quit!). Go B, Go!  BFF Kelly Rowland looked HOT  in her fuchsia Max Azria mini.  Destiny’s Child reunion, pleaseeeee!? In a stunning sequin blush Ellie Saab, Taylor Swift continued her run, earning Top Country Artist and Top Billboard 200.  She was also nominated for Top Artist and Top Billboard Album nominee.  Presenter Selena Gomez rocked in Dolce and Gabbana (her boy Bieber<3 had a BIG night, taking home an armful of awards and matching in D&G… if that isn’t love, I don’t know what is!) So they looked great, right? Well so can you! Dress like these stars! Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge and better known to the world as Prince Williams’s new bride Kate, has been hitting the newsstands hard in the recent months… what, her wedding is kind of a big deal! We love that England is making a Royal comeback but let's get real... it's not the hats! It's thanks in part to Kate and her sister Pippa’s striking dress choices at the Royal Wedding on April 29, 2011!  The world waited on edge for the first glimpse of Kate in her wedding dress and she did not disappoint...elegance and beauty, a picture perfect fairy tale!

Across the Atlantic in New York, Faviana took notice of the Middelton sisters, adding their gowns to their Red Carpet celebrity inspired line!  The ETA (estimated time of arrival) for these effortless and graceful designs is scheduled for debut to us commoners approximately August 2011!

Break-ups totally suck. Whether it's the end of a 3 year relationship or a summer romance, it's never easy. Especially for celebs like Vanessa Hudgens, whose split from long-time boyfriend Zac Efron last December, still has the media in a frenzy. Despite being dumped just days before her 22nd birthday, Vanessa kept her head up high and was all smiles when she celebrated her 22nd at Pure Nightclub in Las Vegas. Dressed to impress, Vanessa showed off her post-breakup attitude and proved to us that life does go on….even after Zac Efron! Talk about handling a breakup gracefully!

Now it's time to crank up some Beyonce, preferably "Single Ladies," and check out some fashion you can rock post-breakup!

Now we know you guys broke-up, but why waste energy on hating him when there are more important matters to attend to, like buying a dress? The key to having a great time is all about looking good and feeling great…plus you never know who you might run into. Trade in those post-break up blues for a matching pair of shoes...

Last Sunday, the stars graced the Red Carpet at the 2011 SAG Awards and they did not disappoint.  While nudes and blushes were chosen by many, thankfully we had some head turning, eye-popping color from a few of our favorite leading ladies!  Two of televisions funniest chose colorful gowns! ABC’s Modern Family star Sofia Vergara had two big wins; One for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy and the other for a knockout with Cavalli’s flawless ruching and curve enhancing royal jewel-toned gown! NBC’s 30 Rock genius, (this show is always up for awards come SAG season) Tina Fey was the talk of the night in her fitted and strapless red Oscar de la Renta gown!

Lead Actress nominee Jennifer Lawrence (Winter’s Bone) also turned to Oscar de la Renta, choosing an off the runway electric (HOT) pink hit! This dress screamed “Check me out!” The color was something rarely seen on Red Carpets! Young and fun...LOVES IT! Kim Kardashian wore a gorgeous deep purple Marchesa gown... her usual one-shoulder gown (typical) yet threw everyone for a loop with her untypical and toned down hair and make up! Oh Kimmy, you kill us!

Bright, bold and brilliant color choices ladies… you're all winners (except for Kim K. who sadly will have to wait for Outstanding Performance by a Reality T.V. star to get picked up as a SAG category). This week’s dress spotlight is onLa Femme Style 16802

If you're in Prom mode, you've seen Nickelodeon's "Victorious" star Victoria Justice gracing the cover of this year's Seventeen Prom.  Her jewel studded gown is La Femme Style 16802 and it will no doubt be victorious for Prom 2011.  The bodice is fully jewel encrusted front and back, with a heart shaped neckline and jeweled straps.  The chiffon A-Line skirt flows from a high waist band of the same fabric. Some stars hit and some stars missed at the 68th Golden Globe Awards this past Sunday.  Unlike Joan Rivers, I could careless who missed, I was just happy to see what celebrity stylists outfitted Hollywood's hottest starlets in! Here are some of the stars that stayed golden on this years Red Carpet...

The reoccurring color theme of the night seemed to be a mix of greens, nudes and blush tones - All of which were stunning! Our favorite leading ladies never seem to fail us.. Take a few pointers from them as you make your next evening wear choice - you can't go wrong in Hollywood! (I'm kidding, Joan Rivers, relax!)

Open a fashion magazine lately? If you're reading this blog, I'd assume you have and if you took the time to flip through it, I'd assume you came across a page dedicated to Animal Prints.  Animal prints have gained momentum in our wardrobes. First we started with one piece, maybe a cardigan or a tank top. Next came Animal Prints in our jewelry and handbags, followed by shoes and now larger pieces like jackets and dresses. It is only right that we mention that this includes prom dresses.

Many people assume that most Animal Prints are leopard.  This is an easy error and leopard, without a doubt, has been the most popular, but leopard, jaguar and cheetah are all similar to each other as you can see below.  The three are so similar and common that many of us assume one as the other. The chart below can help you to distinguish the difference in prints. Other popular prints this season include tiger, zebra and giraffe.
