The Screen Actor Guild Awards are a pretty big deal, to say the least, recognizing outstanding performances in film and primetime television. So, all of the biggest stars are attending the event and walking the red carpet in the finest. One of those stars at the 2016 SAG Awards was of course Uzo Aduba, who you might know from the Netflix series Orange is the New Black, where she place Suzanne "Crazy Eyes" Warren.

Uzo always puts on an incredible performance on the series, so it was no surprise that the actress walked away with two trophies this past Saturday night (January 30th) - one as part of the cast of OITNB and one for her individual role as Crazy Eyes in the series. But, it wasn't her accolades or her pretty green gown that got our attention at the SAG Awards this year. Rather, it's that she chose to attend the event with one of her closest friends... and her high school prom date!

The photo above is what the actress shared on Instagram: two photos side-by-side of her and her date - one from the two at this year's SAG Awards event, and the other a throwback picture of the two together on prom night! This past week's Saturday Night Live show was full of girl power, with two of the biggest women celebrities hosting and performing on the show. While the East Coast was suffering from a major snow storm, nothing stopped MMA athlete and former bantamweight champ Ronda Rousey from showing her acting chops, and actress and musician Selena Gomez from performing some totally sizzling numbers (melting that snow and ice right away!). When opening up the show, Ronda explained that it was her first time on live TV without being hit in the face (can we say badass??), and Selena showed just how great of a singer she is with stripped-down medleys of "Good for You" and "Same Old Love."

We loved every minute of watching them on the SNL stage... and we especially loved all of the sexy dresses the two wore throughout the show! While Ronda was a staple part of the entire SNL show that night, constantly changing outfits and dresses, our favorite looks from both celebs came when it was time for Selena to take the stage for her performances. With Valentine's Day just around the corner, it's time to not only start looking for your perfect V-Day dress, but to begin thinking of the rest of your outfit, too, from accessories to makeup. Valentine's Day can be difficult to plan outfits for, as it's a day where you really want to look your best. It can be an especially sensitive day in deciding what to wear if you're single looking to go out with your BFFs for a single night out, or if you're in a new relationship where you're still feeling things out.

While it can be tempting to go all-out with a sexy outfit and lots of makeup, POPSUGAR surveyed a group of men about first-date makeup "don'ts" for the big day, and their responses were surprising! POPSUGAR explained, "We spend so much time looking at celebrities and trying to emulate their looks, from intense contouring to overdrawing our lips. It's lovely to admire other women and try new things with our hair and makeup looks, but don't take their aesthetic to heart." Watch what the men have to say in the video below and you'll see why!

Pretty surprising, right? In a totally good way, of course! The three takeaways when it comes to getting that perfect more natural Valentine's Day first date makeup look that POPSUGAR discussed in the video are:

• Avoid bold lipstick. All those shades gals usually love turn out to not be such big hits for guys! But, don't be afraid to be yourself, either - if you feel the most comfortable in bold lipstick, that's okay, too.
• Use a light hand with your foundation. The men in the video explained that they are fans of the more natural look, so going too heavy on foundation can go against this.
• Don't go overboard on eye makeup. So, you may want to tone down that smokey eye makeup look that's become so popular over the years.

However you decide to dress and do your makeup for Valentine's Day, just remember to choose the look you're most comfortable in, as the most important thing is to be comfortable and confident. The rest will fall into place!

The 21st Annual Critics' Choice Awards was held this past Sunday, January 17th, and of course it was an event not to miss. The Critics' Choice Movie Awards is an awards show that's presented annual by the Broadcast Film Critics Association to honor the finest in cinematic achievement, so all of the A list stars were at the event, and competition was fierce... from the awards ceremony to the red carpet.

As usual, our eyes were glued to the red carpet, and there was one gal celebrity that stuck out amongst the rest to us: Kate Beckinsale! Kate has this aura about her where no matter what the movie, event, or situation, she looks classy from head to toe (yes, even when she's a vampire in Underworld, she somehow pulls off that classy look!), and the 2016 Critics Choice Awards was no exception. The celeb rocked a Monique Lhuillier Spring 2016 gown and couldn't have looked more stunning.

Since Kate's dress was a soft silver tone, we loved that she paired her look with dark nails and a smokey eye. It's definitely a perfect winter weather look, but can easily be taken into spring and summer months, too.

One place that's a go-to look for anything unique is Etsy, and that's certainly the case for prom, too. Etsy crafter Rommy Debommy from the Netherlands is a little food obsessed. How obsessed?
