Obviously, one of the most important parts of your senior year is finding that perfect prom dress and making sure everything is in place for the most magical prom night ever. Of course, another important part of senior year are your senior portraits. While the school senior portraits are always an important part of senior year, there are certainly more fun and memorable ways to take senior pictures now, and one way is in your prom dress!

We're so excited and proud to announce that our very own Teghan Gregson has recently been crowned the Miss New Hampshire Outstanding Teen 2016! Teghan had come by the Rissy Roo's store in Linwood, NJ earlier this year during Miss America weekend in Atlantic City, NJ to find a perfect dress for her own pageant, and she certainly did find that perfect dress because she's now a pageant queen!

Teghan's mom, Erica, recently sent us some beautiful pictures of Teghan all dressed up, with some very kind words to accompany the pictures. Check out what she had to say below.

We certainly know why Teghan won the evening wear preliminary award - that dress, of course! She picked a look that couldn't have been more unique in her pink and black Sherri Hill dress. All eyes were certainly on Teghan in her beautiful pageant look. The 88th Academy Awards was certainly a night to remember. Chris Rock kicked off the night with a monologue about the #OscarsSoWhite controversy, and Leonardo DiCaprio finally won his Oscar! The actor took home the Lead Actor Oscar for his role in the movie "The Revenant," and had a moving acceptance speech about the dangers of climate change.

Of course, Leo also had his ever ongoing special encounter with Kate Winselt on the red carpet, which never disappoints. They both looked stunning, but they weren't the only ones we were impressed with on the Oscars 2016 red carpet. Our favorite two looks of the night came from Sofia Vergara and Dorith Mous, who both wore elegant gowns that had us dreaming of prom. Sofia wore a beautiful navy blue gown on the Oscars red carpet that's not only so perfect for a black tie event like the Oscars, but is so prom reminiscent. The deep sweetheart neckline and ruched waist accentuated the actress' curves perfectly. We also loved that she had her hair pulled back - it really allowed the sparkly jewels and beautiful deep color of the dress stand out.  Continue reading →

Quinceañera is certainly an important coming-of-age moment for any 15-year-old Latina girl. It's the celebration of the girl becoming a woman within the Latina culture, so it's one that will be remembered from years to come for the girl, their family, and friends.... from the party to the Quince Court, to the special dress that the Quince girl wears. The 15-year-old is basically a princess for a day!

While the day is magical, looking back on that Quinceañera day years later can be a different experience. Especially when it comes to the dress. The style and look of the dress that you choose as a 15 year old isn't always the same style and look that you might choose years later. So, looking back at pictures can be quite the memorable experience. Plus, since the Quince celebration marks the beginning of adulthood for the girl, years down the line, that girl actually grows into a beautiful woman and that dress doesn't fit so easily anymore! That's the basis of a video that Pero Like, BuzzFeed's social media channels for all things Latino related, recently created. The video certainly speaks for itself - watch it below.

The four girls, Jazmine, Yessica, Jenny, and Rocio all had their own takes on the Quinceañera tradition and the process of trying on their old Quinceañera dresses. Their thoughts were interesting to hear, and they were all pretty dead-on when it came to how the dress would fit years later. It's no surprise these days that that Justin Bieber has a whole body full of tattoos. While his love for tattoos started pretty simply, with only a few here and there, and most hidden, he's grown a large collection of them now throughout his body. While some of his tattoos are self-explanatory, others have pretty deep meanings that you'd never know about unless the Biebs himself explained them. Well, he recently revealed the inspiration for many of the important ones in a video for magazine GQ. Spoiler alert: many are about his mom, and one seems to be for Selena Gomez! Check out the video below.

The first tattoo he ever got may be our favorite, a tattoo of a seagull that everyone in his family has. Bieber says that the tattoo is from a book that everyone in his family has read, and explains that the book is about, "this seagull who wanted to be more than just a seagull." We believe that he may be referencing the book Jonathan Livingston Seagull by Richard Bach, and is certainly a great story to be treasured and shared within a family.  Continue reading →

BFFs Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift yet again left everyone stunned, as they were each other's dates for the 2016 Grammys. Going to the 58th Annual Grammy Awards last night as BFFs weren't the only thing that caught everyone's attention, though. The two couldn't have looked any more glam in their Grammys red carpet dresses! Selena rocked a blue sequined cut-out dress, while Taylor wore a color blocked two piece gown. Both celeb gals couldn't have been more on-trend with their looks.

So, we already know that you have a general idea of how you'll do your Valentine's Day makeup look, but the special day is quickly approaching and it's certainly time to put the rest of your outfit together.
