With summer on its way out and fall 2017 almost here, it's time to update that wardrobe with new looks to take you into the cooler months. Of course, our favorite fall dress-up day is Homecoming, and there are six trends that we are obsessing over for Homecoming 2017. Check them out below for some great ideas to ensure you're totally on-trend for your back to school homecoming dance.

Trend #1: Lace Dresses

The most in-demand Homecoming 2017 styles starts with a trend that's been a staple over a few years now, for both Homecoming and Prom. That trend is lace! A dress embellished with lace details makes for such a timeless romantic look, and can easily be dressed up or down.

The dress shown in the picture above is Alyce 2646. This cocktail dress not only features lace, but also another Homecoming 2017 top trend, velvet. This romantic two-piece party dress features a velvet halter top with a high neckline, sleek side cut outs, and an open lower back. The short A-line skirt features not only lace, but a beautifully beaded waistband, opaque underlay, and a scalloped hem.

Trend #2: Green Dresses

Still trying to figure out what color to rock for Homecoming? Green is the color of choice for fall 2017! The reason that green is such a popular color this year is because Pantone named "Greenery" as the 2017 Pantone Color of the Year! Whether you rock a bright green color like the Color of the Year, or a darker hue, you'll be totally on-point with a green dress this fall.

January 2017 is here, and Awards Season is in full swing! Last week, it was all princess vibes at the 2017 Golden Globes, with both Lily Collins and Lola Kirke wearing pretty, soft pink gowns on the red carpet. This week, it's People's Choice Awards time!

The 43rd People's Choice Awards, which honored the best in popular culture for 2016, was held this past Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California. The awards show was so much fun to watch, and of course the red carpet was full of fabulous looks!

While there were so many celebrities in pretty dresses on the 2017 People's Choice Awards red carpet, our eye was on one celeb: Jodie Sweetin. If you don't recognize the name, you'll certainly recognize the character she place on TV. Jodie plays Stephanie Tanner on the sitcoms Full House and Fuller House! Of course, everyone loves Full House. Netflix has brought it back in such style with the new TV show Fuller House, and everyone has fallen in love with Stephanie and DJ Tanner all over again.

While we love watching Jodie on Fuller House, we couldn't believe how sweet (pun intended) she looked on the People's Choice Awards red carpet! Partly because she always looks so stunning, and partly because she was wearing one of our favorite dress designers: Sherri Hill!  Continue reading →

A couple of weeks ago, we shared Christa Abbate's prom dress testimonial, and now we have another prom dress testimonial to share with you from one of our Roo Girls who recently attended her dance. Brett Emery and her mom, Kris, from Knoxville, Tennessee purchased Brett's prom dress back in March, and Brett finally got all dolled up in her prom dress for her big night. The 2015 Teen Choice Awards took the red... ahem ... blue carpet by storm with the latest and greatest in 2015 fashion, and we're loving all of the celebrity looks! Vanessa Ray at the Teen Choice Awards

Pretty Little Liars actress Vanessa Ray looked so glam in a so on-trend crop top and flirty skater skirt (she's on the left side in the video above). The textured skirt with a more simple fabric top make for a perfect pair in this look.

Happy Summer 2015! As of yesterday, summertime is officially here and we couldn't be more excited (to wear dresses, of course). From weddings, to graduation parties, to BBQs, to nights out with your besties, summer is full of events for getting dressed up.

While the weddings and more formal summer parties are always exciting, we know one of the most enjoyable times about summer is getting to spend some fun nights our with your friends. So, to help make sure you have some cute outfits to wear, we picked out some of our favorite casual summer dresses.
