  • DIY Vampire Makeup Tutorial for Halloween!

Halloween is almost here, and we've been in full swing of matching our pretty dresses with accessories for a classy (and classic) Halloween look. Just a few days ago, we showed you how you can so easily create a sexy witch or vampire look with a little black dress. Today, we're here to show you how to finish off that look with makeup! Roo Girl Stephanie went to work to show you how you can easily create a perfect sultry look with makeup...it's all about that deep, dark eyeshadow! Check out her video below. All you'll need to do is add the fangs!

Even though LBDs are an easy and affordable way to get the perfect vampire dress, designers lately have been all about lace and darker colors for Fall 2103. So, it's made for so many great dresses that are so perfect to be used for a vamp costume, and Stephanie shows off one of our favorites at the end of the video: Sherri Hill style 21156. The combination of the fitted corset-like bodice, elegant black jewels, black lace, and deep red color on this dress screams to be paired with fangs and just the right amount of blood for a super classy and sexy vamp look! It also comes in a black color that's great for being a vampire, too.

  • The Great Gatsby Inspired Look for Halloween

The Great Gatsby may have been in theaters earlier this Summer, but we're still obsessing over all of the stunning fashion in the movie. We simply can't get all of the glitz and glam out of our heads (not to mention Leonardo DiCaprio)! Well, with Halloween here, is there a better time to show off your own glitz and glam? We didn't think so! So, we thought it would be fun to show you how you can rock this Summer's hit movie for All Hallow's Eve.

To get the look, we paired one of our sparkly fringe dresses with a chic feather headpiece, a feather boa, and a long strand of pearls. You can also add in dress glove for an extra touch of glam (and warmth!). The dress is Hannah S. style 27696, a strapless slim sheath cocktail dress with all over sequins and a beaded fringe skirt.

Remember to complete the look with super glitzy jewelry! We especially love Helen's Heart style JE-4601-10 Clear Silver Earrings and Helen's Heart JB-PD00339 Black Diamond Bracelet to add some bling to your outfit.

  • Accessorizing Your Formal Dress for Halloween

Halloween is a great excuse for you to go over the top. But why buy a costume when you can use an outfit from your closet...or get those clothes you've been wanting? Just by adding a few accessories to your favorite dress, you can instantly be part of the Halloween spirit and have the dress to wear again any time of the year (without the Halloween accessories of course)! Read on to see how we added some accessories to some classic formal dresses to make them ready for Halloween!

    Little Black Dress

You can get great use out of any black dress. This Clarisse black one shoulder hi-lo dress is one of our personal favorites (style 2174). Just add kitty ears, a witch hat, or vampire teeth, and you're all ready for Halloween! The real bonus, though, is that a Little Black Dress can be used for so many different occasions that you'll never run out of places and reasons to wear it.

    Fringe Dress

The fringe dress has been a very popular style lately. The look is taken from the 1920s flapper style, so with this in mind, this type of dress is great to turn into a flapper girl outfit!  This black Mac Duggal fringe cocktail dress (style 3479T) and Touch Ups Peacock high heals are perfect to be a flapper girl.

    White Dress

White formal dresses are always stand-out pieces at any event. For Halloween, just add wings and you can be a beautiful angel! One of our favorite white dresses is the Mac Duggal style 6383N, which has a beautiful  fully sequined top and layered ruffles of chiffon on the skirt. The Sizzle by Coloriffics Inez high heals are a great way to add some extra glitter to the outfit!

    Red Dress

Red dresses are always a sexy choice. And for Halloween, where there's a white dress for an angel, there must also be a red dress for the devil. Turn this La Femme 18110 cocktail dress into a devil by adding horns and a tail.
