Artfully disheveled looks are making a comeback, reminiscent of the grunge trend of the 1990s. Both men and women find that grunge is a fun trend that is easy to wear. Stylists are going back to this concept in photo shoots and music videos. Even artists and actors on their days on and off the clock are rocking this trend on set and on the street. Most of the candid street style shots posted to social media lately are grunge inspired.

Some simple fashion principles and key pieces can make this look underdone and effortless without looking a mess. Unless you do want to do a messy look, then you are still styled within this trend. Sometimes we follow trends without even knowing it. It might border on hipster style, but grunge has a less structured and more playful look. There are many retailers offering dresses and tops in this style. Not quite a hippie ethereal goddess, not quite hardcore punk, but those ideas come into play with modern grunge. From natural textiles and warm hues to stark graphic patterns and metallic accessories, a variety of elements make up what we call grunge.

We're well into Summer, and Prom 2015 is sadly over, but we're still getting in so many gorgeous pictures from our Roo Girls all dressed up for their big night! The latest in Prom Dress Testimonials comes from Nancy Gorenc Letchford, who is the mom of Christina Letchford. Christina attended her prom this year all the way in another country, Halifax, Nova Scotia!

Even though Christina was all the way in Nova Scotia, her mom dutifully sent us photos of Christina all dressed up at her prom, and we're basically in love! She wore a nude mermaid gown that fit her body perfectly. See what Christina wore and what her mom, Nancy, had to say below.

Summer season brings not only wonderful weather soaked up with the sun, higher temperatures, daydreaming about golden sandy beaches and crystal clear waters. This is the time for much deserved relaxation and vacations, longer journeys, parties and free time spent with family and friends. This time of year can be very special for many reasons.

Happy Summer 2015! As of yesterday, summertime is officially here and we couldn't be more excited (to wear dresses, of course). From weddings, to graduation parties, to BBQs, to nights out with your besties, summer is full of events for getting dressed up.

While the weddings and more formal summer parties are always exciting, we know one of the most enjoyable times about summer is getting to spend some fun nights our with your friends. For a black tie wedding, we're all about one of our brand new Sherri Hill looks, Sherri Hill style 32292.
