  • Dancing with the Stars is BACK...and it's Featuring Jovani!

The newest season of Dancing with the Stars is in full swing (pun intended!), and the stars and talent are great...and the fashion is so amazing! This season's DWTS fashion is particularly glam, though, because the dancers are looking so beautiful in dresses from one of our favorite designers - Jovani! Check out the beautiful dancers in Jovani below.

DWTS dress Jovani 94443Six-time World Champion and MMA and UFC Hall of Famer Randy Couture partners with Karina Smirnoff wearing Jovani style 94443, a sexy short beaded backless dress with fringe detail on the shoulders and a deep v-neckline. It fit Karina so perfectly, and fringe is always a fun trend to rock while dancing to accentuate movement!

DWTS dress Jovani 93812NASCAR legend Michael Waltrip partners with Emma Slater wearing Jovani style 93812, a sexy short beaded dress that features sheer cutouts. It's such a classy, yet sexy look!

DWTS dress Jovani 93668Late-night television talk show host Tavis Smiley partners with pro dancer Sharna Burgess wearing Jovani style 93660, a sexy short beaded dress with sheer floral accents. This dress fitted Sharna like a glove!

We're obsessed with all three of these cocktail dresses, not only because of how stunning they look, but because they are so versatile! They're perfect to rock for not only a homecoming dance (so you can dance the night away in style like these DWTS dancers!), but for the Holidays or any other formal or semi-formal event you may have. • This Homecoming Queen is also her School's Football Kicker

South Jones High School senior Mary Kate Smith is one busy girl. This Fall brings on her Homecoming Dance, where she's the reigning homecoming queen, dedication to her Mississippi school's soccer team, oh and one more thing... the new kicker for her school's varsity football squad!

Mary Kate Smith is Homecoming Queen and the kicker on her school's football team

Already a star on her school's soccer team, she's bringing her golden foot to a new team - she's the first girl to make the school's varsity football squad. Her response if someone tells her she plays like a girl? Here's what she told TODAY.com:

"I'm me, and I'm not trying to be anybody else. I'll take that as a compliment."

TODAY.com got the whole scoop on this talented girl who proudly wears two things on her head: a homecoming crown, and a football helmet. TODAY.com explained that her football coach, Corey Reynolds, said one of his assistants, Matt Smith, the strength and conditioning coach for Mary Kate's soccer team, suggested Mary Kate be the kicker that'd sought all summer long. Corey explained, "It just turned out to be a blue-eyed, homecoming-queen soccer player."

    sev-football-star-lgn

Corey said he was amazed at the way Mary Kate could kick a 40-yard field goal in practice, calling her "one of the most highly competitive athletes - male or female - I've ever seen."

Mary Kate said field-goal kicks are in theory easier than kicking a soccer goal because the ball is stationary in football, but "the pressure is 10 times worse [in football], with big guys running at you who outweigh you by 200 pounds."

Sounds pretty scary to us, that's for sure!

Of course, Mary Kate's parents are so proud of her! Her dad said, "Here, in the South, where traditional values are very traditional, we were a little concerned about how well she'd be accepted. We've been pleasantly surprised by the support that the community has shown her. We've got a renewed faith that things are equalized for her, and for girls like her." Check out her friends cheering her on, all wearing "We <3 Mary Kate Smith" shirts!

Mary Kate's got a lot to be looking forward to when she graduates from high school and moves onto college. She's planning on playing Division-I soccer next fall at the University of Souther Mississippi and considering a career as an orthodontist. Good luck as South Jones High School's Homecoming Queen Football Kicker!

  • Miss America 2015: Miss New York, Kira Kazantsev!

We've kept you posted on the Miss America 2015 competition for a couple of months now because one of our favorite designers, Tony Bowls, is the exclusive evening gown sponsor of the event...and the wonderful pageant has officially come to an end as of last night! We're very excited to announce that Miss America 2015 is Kira Kazantsev of New York!

Does something about that statement sound familiar? It's because this is the third year in a row that Miss New York took the Miss America crown...that's right, this is a threepeat! Last year, Nina Davuluri took the Miss America 2014 crown, and she must have been very happy to pass it down to her fellow New Yorker, Kira, last night.  That's not all, though...even Miss America 2013 was from New York, Mallory Hytes Hagan!

While Kira is our new Miss America, all of the girls looked stunning... especially in their Tony Bowls dresses! The first runner up is Courtney Garrett, Miss Virginia, the second runner up was Ashton Campbell, Miss Arkansas, the third runner up was Victoria Cowen, Miss Florida, and the fourth runner up was Lauren Kuhn, Miss Massachusetts.

Kira's got the smarts and talent all rolled up into one - she's a vocalist, and is a future law student, having been accepted to Fordham's law school. For her talent portion, Kira surprised everyone by singing Pharrell Williams' "Happy" while sitting cross-legged on stage and banging a red plastic cup on the floor! And, she named combatting sexual assault in the military as the issue which she would want female U.S. Senators to press their male counterparts. She clearly has a very unique mind, very deserving of the Miss America crown!

Kira was crowned in a stunning backless Tony Bowls couture white long sleeved gown. She looked so elegant and graceful in it! If you want her look for Prom, or Homecoming, go with Tony Bowls Evenings TBE11457, a long sleeve jersey slim-fitting gown with beaded triangle bodice inset, beaded center front, softly gathered front bodice, beaded cuffs, open back with cowl drape, and a skirt with a flared back and train.
