Graduation time is here and you want to throw the greatest grad bash that will have people talking about it for the next year! There's a lot of planning and preparation that goes into these shindigs, and it's definitely time to start! Your grad party won't be the only grad party either...so yours must be extra unique from the rest. So, to help you out, below is a list of some of our favorite fun ideas for an epic graduation party.

Instead of having the usual BBQ music, why not add activities to make it more exciting? Build teams named after colleges, create a score board with different rounds of games, and have parents be in charge of refereeing. There's endless possibilities to what kinds of games you can incorporate. A slip and slide race...a three legged race...a potato sack race...maybe even trivia games! Your party will be the talk of the town!

What's a grad bash without snacks?! Besides ice cream and BBQ food...get creative and serve some grad themed food. We pinned our favorite graduation themed grubs on our Roo Inspiration & Fun board. The cap pops and edible diplomas look so cute...people won't want to eat them (but they look so yummy that they won't be able to resist!). Below are some of our favorites from Pinterest.

 Graduation is a time to remember, so make sure the memories are captured at the party, too! Hang a banner at your party that people can sign and leave messages. It can be as simple as hanging a large piece of paper on the wall, or use your creativity to add your own personal touch. We love Martha Stewart's idea of creating a scroll where people can leave messages on sticky notes. This makes it easy to roll up and save for the grad student as a keepsake when the party's all over!

 Another great way to add to this idea is to have a polaroid camera available to use at the party. This way, guests are encouraged to take photos, and can even take them home as their own keepsakes, or add them to the message board with a little tape.

You can also have a simple, memorable gift for each of the grad students to bring home. Think of something that's either useful for your graduate friends, or that may give them a positive outlook about what the future holds. We love the idea of a mini notebook as a gift, like the Moleskin notebooks. It's something that can be carried with you everywhere - from class to the dorm - so that you can always keep track of what you need to do, and maybe even any ideas that you may have for class projects!

Another great gift is a cute book like Le Petite Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery or Jonathan Livingston Seagull by Richard Bach. Both are short stories that are seen as children's books, but have great lessons about learning about life and finding one's self. Perfect little gifts to get your friends excited about venturing on to their next journey in life!

Whatever you decide to do at your graduation party, just make sure to have fun and make it a memorable experience! It may be the last time that you and your high school (or college) friends are all together as a group.

Avril Lavigne recently came out with a new single called "Here's to Never Growing Up," and we're loving not only the song, but the video, too! The song's all about having fun, and the video is set at a senior prom, so we automatically fell in love!

When it comes to prom, of course Avril still doesn't lose her punk rock look. We love the short light blue dress she wore in the video - it matched her eyes so perfectly!

For a similar look to Avirl's short prom dress look, we love Sherri Hill style 21156. It's one of Sherri Hill's newest styles that's not only perfect for prom, but homecoming, too! The grey accenting, paired with lace and jewel detailing is so punk that it couldn't be any more Avril Lavigne inspired! It also comes in dark red and navy colors that are super punk, too.

We are especially oogling over Avril's new single and video, though, because it looks like she's taking a step back to her roots! The music video reminded us of when she first came onto the scene 11 years ago as the punk rock princess that everyone came to love her for. The video was full of people spraying graffiti, a group crashing a pool in their prom outfits, and wrecking the school with chairs flying, confetti everywhere, and of course Avril on her skateboard.

There were so many beautiful Sherri Hill dresses worn during this year's Miss USA pageant, that we couldn't possibly fit them all into one (or two!) posts. Sherri Hill style 21187 was one dress that we loved, but didn't mention in our Miss USA 2013 posts earlier this week. So, we decided to give it a special shout-out and make it our Dress of the Week!

Miss Nebraska wore this sexy red lace dress during the pageant, and she looked absolutely breathtaking! It hugged her curves so well, and the nude coloring made her tan skin glow even more. We also loved the statement necklace she wore with the dress - it complimented the lace in the dress so well and gave her such an elegant look!

Sherri Hill style 21187 is a glamorous short cocktail dress complete with classy and chic lace design and scalloped hem. It's such a pretty minidress for graduation, homecoming, a semi-formal party, or just a fun night out! It comes in a variety of colors, such as black, blue, ivory, navy, and blush. We love how the variety of colors this dress comes in lets you dress it up with a more formal color like black, or even give it a more summery look by choosing the ivory or light blue color. It definitely makes it an easy dress to wear to so many different social occasions...or maybe even on stage at a pageant like Miss Nebraska!

This is one special report that no Roo Girl should miss! NBC News recently did a story on their "Rossen Reports" Today show about how teens are being scammed with fake designer dresses. It made us sad to hear that scammers are becoming such a problem when it comes to purchasing designer dresses, that we wanted to make sure to pass on the information to you.

Jeff Rossen, the NBC reporter, started the report by mentioning:

"We've told you about scam artists selling fake electronics, handbags... the list goes on. Now these scammers are targeting the prom, fooling teeange girls with fake designer dresses, charging hundreds of dollars for gowns that literally fall apart in your hands. Their websites are a teen girl's dream, offering designer prom gowns at deep discounts. The sites sure look real, but designers say it's all a scam."

With how big online shopping has become over the years, it's definitely become more and more difficult to pick out the scams.

"The federal government has shut down hundreds of these sites, but the scammers are tough to catch, many of them based overseas. Good luck getting your money back. And those priceless prom memories."

There are ways you can protect yourself, though! Here are some tips:

1. Call the company and ask if they are an authorized dealer. Remember, you're always welcome to call Rissy Roo's at our toll-free number 1-866-779-7667 to discuss your order.
2. Look on the dress designer's website to see if the store is listed as an authorized website.
3. Look for verification seals on the bottom of the website, and make sure to click through to check verification.
4. Check if the website has a blog and a presence on prominent social networks, like Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.

This is definitely a problem that's grown substantially over the past couple of years. Whether looking for a dress online for prom, graduation, or homecoming, definitely keep your eyes and ears perked. Pretty Little Liars is back, and with a vengeance, for its Season 4 Premiere! The episode, which aired on June 11, was called "A is for A-l-i-v-e," and it definitely got our hearts racing, as usual. Marlene King, executive producer, promised that this would be the "season of answers," and she definitely wasn't kidding around! The premiere episode already cleared up almost every "A" related question that's still been lingering around, while still adding a dozen more to the list!

We don't want to ruin the episode for those fans who haven't watched it yet, so we'll leave it at that, and instead focus on what else, but the fashion! Black's always been a big Pretty Little Liars color, but we especially loved it in this episode! All of the girls were wearing cute little black dresses (except for Hanna Marin, played by Ashley Benson, who added a totally chic sheer long skirt to her look), with sexy high heels to match. We loved the dresses so much that we picked out our favorite black cocktail dresses. The 66th Annual Cannes Film Festival was held at the end of May, and there were so many stunning looks all throughout the festival! One of our favorite looks was worn by DJ and model Joy Vieli. She wore one of our favorite designers, Mac Duggal, at several events at the festival, so we were of course very amazed by her outfit choices! Some of the events Joy attended included director Sofia Coppola's exclusive yacht party, as well as an after party at VIP ROOM Famous Club. She was definitely both dressed up in style AND partying in style!

Our favorite look that she wore during the festival was Mac Duggal style 78703R, which is the gown she's wearing in the above picture. It's such an elegant gown, but we loved how she gave it her own edgy touch with hairstyle and bold lipstick (and of course, her fierce model stance!). Mac Duggal 78703R has sensational beaded floral designs that fill the center front of this spectacular floor length evening gown, giving it such a unique look. All eyes were definitely on Joy in this gown with a thigh high slit and sheer one shoulder design!

 It's a great dress for prom or any other formal event. Black goes with anything and everything, after all!

Everybody remembers their prom. Whether it was a good or bad, it's always a memorable experience. Ever wonder what kind of experience celebrities have? You would think that after doing so many red carpet events and shows, they would have forgotten about their prom night. Seventeen Magazine asked celebrities like Selena Gomez to spill the beans about their own prom experience. You're going to be so surprised at what these celebs reveal...not everyone had a good time!

Shay Mitchell from 'Pretty Little Liars' confessed about her break up right before prom! She didn't find a date in time but had a great experience going with her friends. Shay didn't go all out for her prom dress and borrowed her accessories from her mom...but made sure she got new fab shoes.

"I bought nice, crystal shoes—you have to get something that makes you excited. It doesn't have to be expensive, but I really did feel like a princess putting my shoes on!"

Selena Gomez ended up crashing a prom in Canada with her co-star - Demi Lovato - during their premiere of Princess Protection Program. Here's what she said about their unforgettable "prom night":

"We had an after-party at a hotel. I kept hearing dance music, so I peaked into the ballroom and there was a prom going on! I ran upstairs and got Demi. Then we walked into the ballroom onto the dance floor and just started dancing. After a couple songs, people started to notice we were there. I got scared I was going to get in trouble, but all the students let us dance with them. Even the principal came and started dancing with us!"

The 2013 CMT Music Awards on Tuesday, June 5 at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena had all of our favorite country music ladies walking the red carpet. And, you can bet that they looked stunning! From sexy short dresses that looked so perfect for summer, to glamorous gowns that had us wishing prom season wasn't coming to an end, we were swooning over all of the looks! As always, it was tough to narrow it down to a few best dressed, but, after much contemplation, we picked out our three favorites. Check them out below, as well as how you can get their looks for your next formal or semi-formal event!

Taylor Swift never disappoints when it comes to fashion (or music!), so it's no surprise that she landed in our top 3 list. She wore a strapless nude embroidered high-low Elie Saab gown. With her hair back, the focus was definitely on how gorgeous her dress was!

Sherri Hill style 8300 is an absolute perfect way to get Taylor's look. It is an elegant and simple sequined strapless dress with an asymmetrical hemline that you can rock in nude, just like Taylor. Or, find another color that you love even more - it comes in a variety of colors, such as red, coral, green, black, brown, and navy.

Kristen Bell wore an elegantly laced little black number from Zuhair Murad. It's such a beautiful cocktail dress that fit her so well!
