With Star Wars Day is officially here (May 4th)! We know many girls are still on the hunt for their perfect prom dress, so we wanted to send out some good vibes today. So, without further adieu... May the Force (ahem... May the FOURTH!) be with you in aligning the stars and finding your perfect prom dress today. In the words of Yoda, "Find your prom dress, you will."

Since today is also Manciure Monday, we're definitely feeling the force in putting together a Star Wars inspired prom look! We found some Star Wars nail art looks we loved on Pinterest, which you can see above, and we paired it with a prom dress that is so Star Wars worthy: Scala 48435! The stars (and galaxies) will align for the perfect evening gown when you slip into this electrifying creation. Radiantly lustrous material is overlaid by intricate patterns for a richly textured look, and glittering sequins add a healthy dose of glitz. From its sweetheart neckline to its sweep train, this gown reminds us of the beauty of the stars above.

Even though you probably won't be rocking Star Wars nails at prom, we thought this Scala prom dress was the perfect way to bring a little geeky inspiration to the dance floor. That's not to say we'd totally be all about rocking a bold nail look like the ones above at prom! After all, prom night is all about you - be comfortable and confidence in whatever outfit you choose.

Halloween is less than two weeks away, and with today being the 2nd to last Manicure Monday before Halloween is here, we have more Halloween inspired looks for you! Last week, we showed you an easy way to get a vampire or witch look with a little black dress, and today we have more LBD Halloween ideas for you! Read on to get a totally cute Halloween black cat look!

This so chic black cat look matches Sherri Hill style 21156 in black with Baylee by Sizzle pumps in black. Sherri Hill style 21156 is a one-of-a-kind dress that features a strapless design, sweetheart neckline, and low back style. And, of course, you can never go wrong with a little bit (or a lot) of sparkle!

Of course, there might be another Halloween look you think of when it comes to Sherri Hill style 21156... a vampire! Either way, you'll look super chic for Halloween, and it's one of our favorite dresses to rock for Homecoming and Prom, too!

We love the holidays here at Rissy Roos! Especially Valentine's Day and all of the pink decorations that are associated with it! Last week we showed you some of our favorite dresses to wear for Valentine's Day, and this week, we're going to show you how to accessorize in other ways for V Day! Remember, you don't have to dress or decorate drastically to get into the "Valentine's Day spirit"; which is why we like it. You could do such simple touches to your make-up, hair and nails to prove that you're loving and looking forward to Valentine's Day!

 We found this "Valentine's Day Smokey Eye" on Pinterest and we are obsessing over it! How feminine and fun! You could rock a pair of jeans and white t-shirt and still look Valentine-ready with this eye look! It's also super simple to do and you could alter the colors to suit your style.

What better way to prep for Valentine's Day than to get a mani? We are loving this black, white and red combo! And who could deny those adorable polka dots? This nail art is a subtle, yet adorable, way to show that you're looking forward to this year's Valentine's Day.

 Lastly, hair chalk! This trend is all that everyone is talking about and we don't blame them because it's trendy and very unique. Color the bottom of your hair with some pink and red hair chalk to accomplish a chic Valentine's Day look. Carrie Underwood has already got a head start!

Happy Halloween! The day of dressing up as whatever your heart desires is finally here and it's time to celebrate. We're sure that you have your costume together already (if not, read yesterday's Easy Ways to Dress Up for Halloween blog post!), but you may not of had too much time to think about your nails. So, we are here to help out with some of our favorite Halloween nail art looks, and even a tutorial!

For a quick and easy Halloween nail look, just paint your nails black! To spice it up a notch, add some orange glitter like in the photo above, or paint one nail on each finger orange.

Most salon goers tend to stick with one, or two, colors when getting a mani/pedi; however there are some risk takers out there who love to experiment with new and exciting patterns! You have ten finger nails that act as a blank canvas, waiting for you to fill them up with beautiful and unique nail art! Let's take a look at some of the most popular mix and match nail patterns:

How adorable is this mani!? The base color, which is a coral pink, is the perfect color for summer time! The jewels on the middle nail will shine in the summer sun, as well as the silver embellishments located on the pinky and thumb nail. The white polka-dot and stripes are the perfect mediums to balance the nails out and make sure they don't look TOO over the top!

The Roo Girls are LOVING this beautifully done mix and match manicure! It reminds us of the Flapper Era, which is extremely popular now due to the release of The Great Gatsby remake.
