  • Coachella Inspired Looks for Prom & After Prom With Sherri Hill Dresses

While we are so sad that today is the final day of Coachella, we have been so amazed by all of the stunning fashion statements that have been worn at the music festival over the past two weeks. From crop tops, to lace, to hippie chic, to western inspired, to beads galore, we're in love with the new festival-inspired fashion trend.

Coachella Inspired Sherri Hill Styles for Prom and After PromBest yet, this new festival look is definitely not something that can only be worn at festivals and as casual weekend outfits. This style is transcending all types of looks and events... even formal events! Dress designer Sherri Hill, in particular, has brought the festival fashion trend to their Prom 2015 looks. Check them out below to get a Coachella inspired look for Prom!

Sherri Hill 11068Crop tops have become so popular lately, whether at a music festival, a casual weekend day, a night out with friends, or even prom. For a crop top look that is Coachella reminiscent, we're all about Sherri Hill 11068. The beaded high neck sleeveless top reminds us of some of the stunning beaded tops that were worn at Coachella this year.

Sherri Hill 32260Fashion at Music festivals, whether Coachella, Governors Ball, Bonnaroo, or many others, is all about rocking that perfect hippie chic look. When it comes to a more formal/semi-formal dress, Sherri Hill 32260 couldn't emit that hippie chic vibe any more perfectly! The allover delicate white lace covers bell sleeves, deep v-neck, and a keyhole cutout back on this short, elegant bohemian inspired cocktail dress. Beaded crystal and a gold empire waist adds just the right amount of sparkle. We love this dress for a fun and flirty after-prom look! Plus, this look is formal, yet casual enough to wear time and time again.

Shop Similar Bohemian LooksThe next two looks are the perfect way to combine the best of both worlds when it comes to Coachella fashion trends: crop tops and lace! The first is Sherri Hill 32230. This dress is hippie chic at its best when it comes to a a longer, more formal gown. This two piece lace dress features an off the shoulder top and a long layered skirt.

  • Get The Pretty Little Liars Prom Dresses From The Season 5 Finale!

The Pretty Little Liars Season 5 finale was so intense that we almost couldn't take it! The girls had to trade their fabulous sense of style in for prison jumpsuits in this episode, and this may have been one of the all time creepiest PLL episodes, but that didn't stop us from keeping our eyes on the prize: the beautiful prom dresses that the PLL girls wore! Our favorite Pretty Little Liars prom dresses, of course, were hands-down Hanna's, Ashley Benson, and Emily's, Shay Mitchell. Why? Because they're made by two of our favorite designers, which means you can get the same exact looks for prom!

Pretty Little Liars Season 5 Finale

Hanna Marin's PLL Season 5 Finale Prom Dress

Hanna Marin looked radiant in red with Sherri Hill style 32107. This dress is a strapless mermaid gown with a sweetheart neckline, beaded lace bodice and a satin skirt with a short train. The dress fit her like a glove! We especially loved that she accessorized with black elbow-length gloves. The combo of the elegant gown with the gloves stayed true to the opera theme.

    Sherri Hill 32107

Emily Fields' PLL Season 5 Finale Prom Dress

Emily Fields took romantic to the next level with her prom dress: Mac Duggal style 78897, which is part of the Prom 2015 Mac Duggal Royalty collection. Emily (Shay) sure did look like royalty in the dress! Just like Hanna, Emily added elbow-length gloves for that extra touch of elegance.

Mac Duggal 78897This sophisticated dress features sheer illusion cap sleeves and a high collar that is reminiscent of the most popular runway fashions. Sparkling like none other, the sheer illusion cap sleeves are decorated with silver beading and crystals. Creating a sexy look with a plunging v-neckline that leads to a starburst embellishments along the waistline, this gorgeous evening gown is all about making a serious statement.

  • Rissy Roo's Dress Testimonial: Macie Buch

A new year always means lots of new events to attend, which gets us excited to not only help all of our Roo Girls find their perfect dresses, but to then get to see them all dressed up at their events! Our most recent dress testimonial comes from Macie Buch and her mom Jennifer Wyers-Buch. Macie recently attended her Majors ball and wore one of our favorite new looks from our Spring 2015 collection: Sherri Hill 32146. Jennifer sent us the below pictures of Macie and said:

"Just thought we'd share a pic with the Rissy Roo's staff. This dress by Sherri Hill was the talk of the Majors Ball in Indianapolis last night. Thank you so much!!"

We thought this picture was too cute! Macie certainly looked flawless in her leopard print Sherri Hill dress! The number she chose is a fun and flirty cocktail dress that features not only the stand-out leopard print full taffeta skirt, but also a shiny, chunky black beaded strapless bodice, hidden side pockets (which you can see in the picture of Macie blow), and a peek-a-boo layer of pink tulle underneath the skirt. It's such a chic look, and Macie showed it off so well!

Sherri Hill 32146Check out those so practical hidden pockets! Macie's posing here with her cheerleader friend Danielle Ludlam. They both look so cute in their two-toned dresses.

We loved everything about Macie's look - from her dress (of course), to her loose curls, simple makeup, and statement necklace. It's a perfect (flawless!) look for any semi-formal or formal event... from a Majors Ball, to Prom, or even a Sweet 16. We can definitely see why she was the talk of the night!

Thank you, Jennifer and Macie, for sending in your pictures! We hope you had an amazing time at your ball, and we can't wait to see you dressed up for your next event. Cheer on!

  • Bella Thorne's and Tristan Klier's Homecoming Night!

Our hearts were broken when we heard that Bella Thorne and Tristan Klier broke up, after 3 years of dating. But, Bella recently agreed to still go to Homecoming with Tristan, so we're holding on that there still may be hope for their relationship! The two recently posted such cute pictures from their Homecoming dance from last weekend...they certainly look like they had an incredible time, and makes us think that they really are giving their relationship another shot!

Seventeen Magazine explained that they started out the night at Tristan's house, "and took the obligatory all-the-couples-in-the-living-room homecoming pic and Bella looked gorgeous!" We couldn't agree more! Check out the pics:

Bella Thorne Homecoming 2014 "HOMECOMING" - Bella Thorne

Seventeen Magazine then explained: "Then Tristan and Bella took a picture in front of their limo with Tristan's twin brother (who's equally as gorgeous as Tristan) and his date!"

Everyone definitely looks very "dapper!" Love Bella's super fitted bandage dress? Get a look just like hers with Mac Duggal style 40308! Just like Bella's dress, this avant-guard dress forms to your figure and accentuates your curves with a deep v-cut neckline.

The best thing about these dresses is that they are timeless, and will always give you a stunning form fitting look. So, you can easily take either of these dresses from Homecoming to your next semi-formal or formal occasion. Just like Bela's dress, Tristan's twin brother's date wore just as classic and timeless of a dress: a little black dress! For a so simple and classic look like above go with La Femme style 19842. This is an amazing fit and flare dress with a sweetheart neckline and low v back. The dress has black lace over the nude and a sheer net high neckline. The dress has pockets on both sides of the skirt and the back is completely covered in sheer net.

Halloween is less than two weeks away, and with today being the 2nd to last Manicure Monday before Halloween is here, we have more Halloween inspired looks for you! Last week, we showed you an easy way to get a vampire or witch look with a little black dress, and today we have more LBD Halloween ideas for you! Read on to get a totally cute Halloween black cat look!

Sherri Hill 21156 Black Cat Halloween Look

This so chic black cat look matches Sherri Hill style 21156 in black with Baylee by Sizzle pumps in black. Sherri Hill style 21156 is a one-of-a-kind dress that features a strapless design, sweetheart neckline, and low back style. The fitted bodice is embellished with elegantly designed with beads and sequin embellishments. Baylee by Sizzle is a beaded platform pump with all over jewels and sparkle. All that's needed to finish the black cat look are cute cat ears, cat eye glasses (and cat eye makeup!), and a cat inspired manicure.

This entire look was inspired by the cute manicure idea we saw above, created by lifeisbetterpolished. We've been getting in the Halloween mood here at Rissy Roo's by trying out cute Halloween inspired looks for Manicure Monday today, and we thought this one was just so chic! Purple is a great color to rock to show your Halloween spirit if you don't like the traditional orange and black colors. And, of course, you can never go wrong with a little bit (or a lot) of sparkle!

Of course, there might be another Halloween look you think of when it comes to Sherri Hill style 21156... a vampire! Last year, we created a DIY Vampire Makeup Tutorial and used this dress to finish off the look. Either way, you'll look super chic for Halloween, and it's one of our favorite dresses to rock for Homecoming and Prom, too!
