If you're as excited as we are for fall, we know that you've already started searching for that perfect Homecoming 2014 look. Short...long...high-low...two-piece...lace...ruffles...so many different types of styles and trends to choose from, how are you ever supposed to narrow it down to just one dress? Well, we're here to help your search along and narrow it down to your perfect look.

This week, we wanted to focus in on one of our favorite new trends that has taken hold over the past year: the 2 piece dress look. The 2 piece look started to to get popular in Prom 2013, and became the trend of the season for Prom 2014. So, you better believe that it's one of the most popular looks to wear or Homecoming 2014! There are so many stunning 2 piece looks for this coming fall season that it's hard to pick only a few, but we narrowed it down to just 3 looks to help give you ideas of styles to expect - each from a different dress designer. From the wildly outrageous to the barely there, fashion was an abundant statement to be made at the BET Awards held on June 29th in Los Angeles.  Although not a night for the most positive fashion consistencies, there was one BET Awards Red Carpet look: long white dresses, that took us by surprise. Even though not all the participants of this trend qualified as "best dressed," we are quite pleased with the overall outcome and fashion success of this awards show.

Our first long white dress of the evening we loved was worn by the American model and recording artist Amber Rose. Usually on the provocative side, we were pleased to see the lovely Miss Amber covered in a classy, long sleeve, white gown with metallic belt. With minimal makeup, she looked more gorgeous than ever!

Former "America's Next Top Model," Eva Marcille really lit up the red carpet in a white-hot gown too! The actress/model chose a long sleeve, fitted gown with cut outs at the shoulders and sides, which hugged her body perfectly without being overly sexy.

Another stunning beauty to choose a long white frock was none other than Paris Hilton. Known for her epic fashion choices, she definitely  grabbed the attention of cameras and the show's host, Chris Rock, as he poked fun at her dress' excessive keyhole neckline. Even though it was very sexy, we loved the long white beaded gown, with front slit and intricate cut outs. She is still young, beautiful, and the gown looked very "Old Hollywood" on her! Perfect with her white cat-eye shades, she was ready to have a night of fun!

If we were going to an awards show in a long white gown, we would probably go for something sexy, glamorous, and very statement worthy! One of our choices would be Sherri Hill 32027 jersey evening gown with lace side panels and long sleeves. A dress so dramatic, yet elegant while still capturing the right amount of sex appeal!

The Sherri Hill 2014 Fall collection is very elegant and glamorous. While combining a mixture of short dresses, two-piece ensembles, and long gowns, each and every piece has the beauty and high fashion details one could only expect from such an elite designer. This collection is full of rich color's like black, red, emerald and royal blue. Many embellishments like intricate beading, geometric cut outs, and lavish lace are implemented throughout the entire collection, making the designs fit for a queen! Playful Two Pieces

Homecoming dresses are an entirely different look when comparing them to prom. They are generally a little less formal, although some schools make it a very fancy occasion. Typically, homecoming is a gathering of students uniting as one, celebrating the beginning of a new school year and showing their school spirit in hopes of leading their team to victory. Prom is more of a coming of age pastime and memorable occasion. Of course, no homecoming game is complete without a celebratory after-party! Sherri Hill's fall line is full of two-piece dresses that are fun, yet elegant enough to be worn as formal attire. Miami Fashion Week, held each year in Miami Beach, Florida is a spicy Fashion week broadcasting the most creative and passionate fashions of the resort collections to the USA, Mexico, Latin America, Canada, and Europe! Hundreds of media and social outlets meet with designers and party with the glamorous celebs and high fashion crowds for this special occasion! It just so happens that one of our fave world-renowned prom and evening wear designers, Sherri Hill lit up the stage with a runway show at this extravagant event!

Sherri Hill is no newbie to the fashion show game. After working with now competitor Jovani Fashions for 8 years, Sherri Hill started her own line in 2008. Soon after, her designs began to get name recognition in the pageant world as several top competition winners began to win in her gowns! Now, over 800 stores scattered in 30 countries sell the Sherri Hill brand and it's only getting better. Continuously dressing celebrities for the Red Carpet like Selena Gomez and Bella Thorne, The Sherri Hill Collection hit New York Fashion Week's 2011 runway with Kendall Jenner walking for the show, as well as other big names. The Spring 2013 Spring Collection featured Kendall and Kylie Jenner walking the New York Fashion Week show, as well as Miss Universe 2008, Dayana Mendoza!

At MFW 2014, Sherri featured her contemporary designs with a twist for the resort 2014 collection and it was perfection as always! One of the fabulous models walking for Sherri Hill was Miss Universe 2013, Gabriela Isler! She was beautiful and sparkled down the runway like the diamond that she is!

LaSheila Rotchford sent us in a photo of her daughter's, Jada, look from head to toe, and we are so impressed! LaSheila said:

Not only is it an amazing dress...but an amazing look all around! We loved Jada's perfect choice of jewelry and peep toe high heels for her prom look. She looked absolutely elegant! Jada chose Sherri Hill style 21058 for her prom dress.

 This strapless mermaid gown is so classy with just the right amount of sexy! The lace, embellishments, precious beading, and fitted floor-length skirt with flare and train exude elegance, while the revealing sweetheart neckline, low back design, and fitted look adds a little bit of sexiness. Jada chose to wear the gown in the Nude color, but it also comes in colors Blush/Silver, Ivory/Nude, Navy/Nude, and Red/Red.

Do you remember the elegant mermaid gown that Caroline Forbes (Candice Accola) wore to Prom Night on Episode 19 of Season 4 ("Pictures of You") last year? Well, if you loved that look, the dress that Jada chose is another great way to get Caroline's style! While both of these dresses are no longer available because they've been discontinued, another gorgeous choice for rocking an elegant mermaid gown look is Sherri Hill 32237.

With Valentine's Day right around the corner, we know that it means that it's also time for Sweetheart Dances! So, to make sure that all of our Roo Girls are ready to go, we wanted to pick out our favorite sweetheart dance dresses for a fun night of celebrating V-day. Last year, we showed you both red and pink dresses that could be worn to a Sweetheart Dance, but this year there's so many absolutely gorgeous red dresses that we're obsessing over the classic V-Day color. Check them out below!

Dave & Johnny style 10456 has us gushing for Valentine's Day! This short tulle dress is so perfect for V-Day with its high illusion neckline, sequin bust, cap sleeves, illusion back, and little bits of lace around the neckline. It's a great combination of glam and sultry for a Sweetheart Dance.

Terani style P3003 is a perfect pick for lots of pretty lace, tulle, and the so popular sheer. This strapless sweetheart dress has a flared mesh skirt and sheer bodice that's accented with lace appliqué and is great if you're looking for more of a classic prom-style look for your Sweetheart Dance dress. This dress also comes in an Ivory/Nude color, so if you want to stay away from the classic red V-Day look, this dress may be for you. Ivory and White dresses are definitely a perfect way to still show your love for the holiday if you don't like red!

For a fitted cocktail dress look, we love Sherri Hill style 21185. It's a unique cocktail dress with an asymmetrical neckline and funky embellished one sleeve dress. With a form fitted mini skirt, this dress is sure make an impression. This dress comes in so many different colors other than the Red/Nude color above: Black/Nude, Navy/Nude, and Nude. An LBD is also always a great option for a Sweetheart Dance, so choosing this dress in the Black/Nude color option is definitely a great choice, as well! It also comes in a gown version, which is Sherri Hill style 21002.
